A fun exploration Tower Defence game. Simple yet challenging if you want it to be. The balance of digging for resources and then what you should spend it on and planning how long it takes to get back and defend your base. Feel i have got my moneys worth for this game.

Not sure how i already put 7 hours in and won only one game haha.
at first it felt simple and empty but as soon as you start getting things unlocked the game really opens up and it proves to be very adictive combining all the various multipliers and special effects.
Thats where the magic is. The simple game play loop is easy to understand but the layers of combinations are hard to master and it really gets you thinking about what are the best stratagies and options to pick. I didnt think this was a game for me but i really have enjoyed it and certainly got my monies worth already.

Sadly this should be a fun game but its not. The game is massively stacked every game .... played for 40 minuets and 3 games.... never once did we even STAND a chance of even capping a single point every game was just us trapped in the spawn getting destroyed by gundams that appear to have abilities you cant counter..... every game was a steam roll if you defended or a spawn camp if your attacking with most of the team either refusing to leave spawn or just quitting it never matterd how many you could kill as one guy would have the ability to solo half your team if not all of it...... wasnt fun and i really wanted it to be fun.... i had high hopes for it but instead it was just not fun to be stamped on over and over for 3 games.

forced training mode that traps you into games with AI's not bad to give you a chance to learn but takes ages and ages for an AI only game and then the mixed games take longer!

I never got out of the training mode as i had multiple bugs where either i could'nt pick up any loot off the floor and thus was unarmed and ultimately doomed to die. or the best was crashing if i ever jumped thorough a window...
3 crashes and doomed to stay in training mode its not for me. Maybe if i started earlier and didnt have to endure this buggy mode it would be an ok game but as a new player in the F2P learning mode its not fun.

a great WW2 game that takes atmosphere of the battle to the next level. There is nothing more terrifying than bombing run or artillery strike. Game excels if played with friends or voice comms. I highly recommend you have a mic for this and you talk to your team. Its the only way to be effective in this.

I was never a big fan of realistic shooters but Hell Let Loots really does well and gives you a great experience.

Only gripe i find is that the automatic weapons that the russians and americans really give them a edge over the germans who seem to have decent guns behind progression which is a shame.

The story for this is good i really did enjoy the play out of it and the premise. Kamala khan is a great character at the start with some great character building but she feels wasted by the mid way point in the story and only comes back into her own at the end mission.

I was disappointed that a game about the avengers actually doesn't let you play with friends very often in the campaign with key story missions forcing you down the line of solo. only post campaign does it really let you enjoy playing with friends.... but this is where the game hits a road bump it becomes very grindy and messy in the end game. There is many many missions but tbh no real cohesion stands out.
Games like destiny give you quite a linear mission path and the a clear go follow this quest line and you feel you are doing something.... yet these feel quite messy. I feel there is a good game getting here but its end game execution is poor.

I feel if you play with friends its vastly more fun. Playing the end game solo kind of sucks and lacks soul. at least at the end game with friends you can make a squad and feel like the avengers.

over all good story with a flawed end game. i do recommend it for the story it was good fun and ticket all the avengers boxes for me and Kamala is a great character. If they could address the end game then i would be vastly happier with whole experience.

Personally worth picking up on sale.

A very fun 3 v 3 Arena shooter with Heros.I grew up on Rocket Arena as a kid (The Quake mod) so a game focused on arena rocket play piqued my interest. I currently have about 10 hours on PS4 and 7 hours on PC
The emphasis is on team play and that allows for some great games but also can be its bane.
The Hero characters are diverse for a game built around rockets as a primary weapon. The abilities are all interesting and seem to make some characters better at the various modes.
Some offer long range weapons others AOE weapons that are great for area control such as cap points.

I have found a lot of players are on comms and this has helped in the team games.

The game has a rolling cosmetic store as well as a Battle Pass progression system over 100 levels per season.

Each character also has 100 levels as well which unlocks cosmetics for their character

While you cant customise your weapons you can customise 3 Modifiers called Artifacts, These alter the performance of recovery and other aspects like damage. It is up to you to work out the meta and balance for the items you want to run with. These items then can also be leveled up 3 times.
This means there is a lot of scope for progression or grind depending on your view.
It also lets you see the other teams items as well so you know what they were using when they beat you so you can learn from it.

The player base is nicely spread over PC and consoles and you will get a diverse range of skills in social and it came seem somegames you are rolled in a stack of 3 players as it is a game you soon learn that certain Heroes work better with others. You can learn ceratin combinations of attacks and some even feed each other more power such as Flux’s Alt fire getting stronger the more rockets it eats.

Game modes
Knockout 3v3 TDM
Rocket Ball 3v3 ball objective you throw into opponents goal
Treasure hunt 3v3 hold the objective item on team for the longest time and also pick up coins loose in the level
Mega Rocket 3v3 Point Control game
Rocket Bot a 3vE PVE wave game

Pros
Fun arcade appearance
higher skill curve should you choose to invest time in it
diverse range of heros to pick from

Cons
slow matchmaking in Ranked
Slow matchmaking in social at off peak times.
Since its 3v3 if the other team is a stack it can make it a hard to play game with randoms.

Very fun to start of launching what the heck you make out of the lab into space and seeing your own crazy inventions go flying off into space..... but then as time goes on you get better and better and those freaky ships start to realistically stand a chance of getting to the Mun or even maybe another planet.
As soon as i realised it was NOT beyond my ability and i could realistically make it it was so satisfying actually launching and getting a ship to another planet and start to land and survey it.

It has its physics issues so when you speed up time physics get way out of control sometimes.... so lessons learned dont speed up time if things are wobbly on your craft haha.

Good Solid Classic FPS, Fights that require constant movement round the room and a style of gameplay not seen in a while. None of this cover shooting bullet sponges. If you learn the guns and what works you can mop whole rooms up in seconds with no struggle. The real fun is playing it on its hardest settings and living through a massive swarm of Demons with the music pumping as you cleave your way through..... Rip and Tear.

it has a Steepish Learning curve but one that really really does pay out when you start to nail it. I recommend this playing with Friends or teaming up via the Community Discord. There is lots of lovely people who will help you out get to grips with the game.
It has a lush visual style and the sound design is wonderful with each weapon distinctive in noise so you can identify it at range. It lets you preview the guns sounds in the menu but an amazing touch lets you zoom out from the weapon so you can see how it sounds at X distance so your really can appreciate how much noise you are making and what its going to sound like at range. it really feels like a amazing world to be in and one that is quite scary.

UPDATED REVIEW AFTER 400 hours
Game still keeps on giving The new MMR system helps lesson the learning curve. The new trials mode lets you explore the map and learn the guns in combat situations. The community discord and general social media vibe round the game is great. The new map that has landed is awesome. Constant drip of new guns, improvements and now events as well for seasonal activities.
The sound design in this game excels and sound is key here so make sure you have some headphones and willing to communicate or at least listen to team mates if your playing with them.

The tense combat and fights the choices you have to make to stay and fight or run away.... the fact you CAN run away and escape is a great change. in BR your forced and pushed into combat all the time Hunt you can pick your fights.... you can deiced the odds and work the problem.
so after 400 hours ..... i see my self easily playing 400 more and then some.

EDIT after 1000 Hours
So can confirm i am now at 1000+ hours and still going. Best value for money ive had so far on steam outside of The Orange Box. New content keeps being added with new weapons and modes and events. Great game

EDIT 1700 Hours down
Game keeps getting new events and new weapons with improvements to perks and mechanics. New Map is coming and a massive overhaul to the engine next year bringing it update to take advantage of new technology like DLSS etc that should deliver improved performance for players but also on the server side as well. The Next year looks good for HUNT.
