I'm sorry for getting back to you so late. I didn't realize I had a message (I didn't recieve a notification). I hope you were able to solve the problem. It would seem that you would have to talk to the character on your right (which I believe is the main character's father) and it would automatically teleport you to town in your house. If that does not work then I would redownload it and verify the game cashe. Also, I start the game from my Steam Library just in case that for some reason helps. Hope it works for you.
