The game is fun and the deisgn of the monsters are for the most part cool.
The combat is always in double and there are no random stuff like poison chances or misses a thing I personaly didn't like in Pokemon, so good thing in my opinion.
The MMO part is nice, seeing everyone running around it's pretty cool.
You can buy and sell monsters in an auction, you can get really strong ones (at a price) if you don't want to grind (very late game stuff)

The story got really annoying in the second half, a lot of running around and really stupid missions (beat a dozen of people without too much noise because we need to be sneaky (yeah sure) OR I'm a mad old dude and you can't continue your MAIN QUEST if you don't catch and give me this specific monster that you can find only this specific place with a 5% encounter rate)
Dojos (Gyms) had fairly interresting puzzles but in the second half they became just stupid almost like they wanted to waste your time on purpose, you made a mistake at the end? Too bad back at the start. (laser dojo)
THE FINAL BOSS IS JUST WRONG (altho cool "cutscene") and the reward for beating it its 10K gold that lets you buy....
...half a shirt, yep the prices are way too high for cosmetic stuff. Ok ok you dont need to buy cosmetic stuff, but could have been cool to diferenciate a bit more from other players (without spending real money).

The secondary missions are of very mixed quality. A lot of fetch quests (even in the main quest) also they get even worse when you have to travel to a different location because....
....the world is fairly big and there is not a "true FLY option" so movement is tedious if you are a comletionist, you could get a mount with a secondary mission (to move slighty faster), but it's a VERY long one (if you want a mount without spending real money). It does not help that the quest markers are not implemented at their best in my opinion sometimes you really don't know wich world to select or you forgot wich city is where
The game is purely online so if they are manteinig the servers you better have something else to play!
The framerate and the loading are not cosistent altho it's the fault of the MMO part, a lot of players in one place will cause stutters even with a fairly decent PC.
As I said the MMO part is cool but you'll get spoilered late game monsters or evolutions from people who finished the story.
There are microtransactions and a battlepass.... on a 45€ game.... but there is a free one!... but it's pretty much useless. There is a weekly one but it's unlocked after you finish the sotry. I personally don't like this kind of stuff, but if you don't care about it, ignore what i just said.

If you like Pokemon AND MMOs you'll probably like it, if you are searching for a Pokemon replacement I'll say dont buy it (maybe look at Coromon if you are looking for that)
I did not do the late game stuff and competitive stuff so maybe its good.

Little P.S. about the Steam Deck: framerate always under 60 you can cap it but it tanks when there is a lot of people around and text is a bit small.

700+ hours should be enough to say that i like it :P Time to 100% it!
