From a rushed and botched launch, even after extensive delays prior. CDPR has finally ironed out a good number of issues that were plaguing the game from launch. As of update 2.1, I am extremely content with how the studio has made my, as well as others experiences suck a lot less.

Even after two playthroughs and still not getting every achievement, I am still in love with the story and world that is created. I was never a fan of visual novels or even point-and-click adventure games. Call it furry trash all you want, it's shaping up to be better than most.

But the artwork is phenomenal and the storytelling even pull on some strings in my big boy heart. Characters feel well written and even having reasonable personality traits, emotions, reactions, etc. I'm excited for chapter two and all of what it entails. Hopefully some ironing out of performance/stuttering issues.

Disclaimer; This is being posted a day before chapter two is released, keeping expectations moderate.

Post Chapter II Act II thoughts: I am in even more love with the story and characters. Even the small story animations/slides are really well done and the music is still as good as ever. And the cliffhangers for the end of Act II makes me anxious for the latter portion of the year for the next act to be released.

Edit post one ending of Chap II Act II: (This is getting long, oh well.) I am only growing more attached and in love with the characters, world and everything that the game has; and is, bringing to offer. For such a small team means long wait times between content, but it's so worth the wait.

Shoot magic enemies with your normal (magic) guns that shoot normal (magic) bullets, use your magic on them, kill them all; rinse and repeat.

Edit: after a little bit of playtime - the community is the worst part about this game.

There are outliers of course.
