I don't have time for in-game rotating item/loadout shops on hour long timers and crappy FOMO micro-transactions.

In fact almost everything in this game is designed to waste your time. The grinding, the vague descriptions on stats, the long tasks, the mission timer, the item shop timer. Its like the actively don't want you to come back to the game, or play "just one more mission"

Game used to be extremely fun, but over time it got worse and is dead now. Developers pushed the eSports angle pretty hard with balancing, despite the competitive side of it never getting big. So the game was balanced for 6v6, despite most of the player base being in 24+ player servers.

When rounds had teams that where evenly matched, the game was fantastic, your team could snatch victory from the jaws of defeat if played well. The only problem is that happened very little, most matches played where just one sided stomps or had one team voting to surrender within the first 5 minutes of the match. New players are treated poorly in servers and they wouldn't get any help or tips from other people.

The developer forums were also a pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ place in general where asking questions about balancing or game development decisions would be met with a passive aggressive "Thread locked :)" from moderators.

Extremely fun cooperative action game, similar to Left 4 Dead. To say its a clone of Left 4 Dead I think does a disservice to this game. The game does enough where it sets itself apart from Left 4 Dead.

The levels are fun, and the loot although it can be frustating at times, gives a reason for replayability. The difficulty in the game doesn't come from cheapness, but from player skill. When you first start you'll think the highest difficulty level is genuinely impossible to do, but as time goes on you feel yourself getting better at the game and figuring out tactics and strategy with your party.

With that said, the game is alright to play with random people, but truly shines when you have friends to play with especially if you can all play it consistently.

I look forward to any expansions or additional content. At the price as well, I don't feel uncomfortable paying for DLC provided its substantial enough and looks fun. When it comes to cooperative fun, all other games are Umgak.

I really wanted to like this game as I immensely enjoyed Trine 1 and 2.

Unfortunately the game is unplayable for me and my friend nearly 6 months after release. The camera glitches out horribly, the physics interactions go haywire in multiplayer, certain events don't trigger so we can't progress in levels, and the game crashes and locks up either computer at random.

From my experience this didn't happen in Trine 1 or 2, so I'm not sure how they managed to mess it up this badly.

Early Access Review
Great ARPG. Identical to Titan Quest but expanded upon with different classes and a really cool devotion system to allow you to make your character feel really unique and powerful. The loot and drops are enough where the game doesn't feel too easy giving you so much high-tier loot but also enough where its rewarding to go and fight through dungeons and bosses.

The art direction and aesthetic of the game is what Diablo 3 should have been. Hopefully they bump the multiplayer player limit up from 4 players to something like 6, but its not a deal breaker for me.

Game had an extremely rough release and first few months. The developers remained in contact with customers on the forums as best they could and seemed genuine. They've added quite a bit of content and fixed some stuff up although it still feels unpolished.

With that said, I would say it is a game definitely worth picking up if you have 2 or 3 other buddies to play with, if you don't have anyone to play with I'd take a pass on it. It's fun to just jump in and shoot some dinosaurs for a bit of a time killer.
