A beautiful combination of Virtua Racing type graphics with an arcadey but fulfilling career mode which takes you through the decades as an open wheel racer. Highly recommended.

A fantastic hockey roguelike with NHL '94-style action.

This game was less than I spend on an energy drink from a vending machine. It has a 16 bit look, but the gameplay is the PERFECT endorphin hit and lets you take it in 30 minute chunks. Probably the best value for the money I've had in a long time, maybe ever.

Simple gameplay, you just move and gather weapons and items. These items continuously fire. These items dispatch enemies, which drop gems. Get enough gems to level up, you get more weapons (or better versions of what you already have). Dispatch a tough enemy and you get a chest with a dazzling light show and more stuff. Repeat until the reaper comes.

My words can't do it justice. I sound like the friend that tells other friends 'DUDE YOU HAVE TO CHECK THIS GAME OUT' and I would ordinarily not want to do that but this game is JUST SO AMAZING that I've broken my own rule once or twice. Try it, I'll be amazed if you don't get your money's worth out of it.

A supportive community where you write and answer mostly anonymous letters on all sorts of topics. Very therapeutic, with a beautiful soundtrack. Highly recommended.

Let me start off by saying how much I LOVE this game. I have devoted hundreds of hours to it, and it is probably my favorite game for PC.

I am not recommending it due to the decision by Psyonix to turn the game into an Epic Store exclusive. Psyonix has announced Steam support for the time being, but given the decision, there is no indication how long Steam will continue to be supported. Will all my unlocked cosmetic gear (including numerous items unlocked with paid keys) go poof into the ether? Will the whole game be disabled? Will I possibly be able to transfer everything to the Epic store? Will the game go free to play in a month or two? WHO KNOWS?!

Because of that exclusivity, and because of the uncertainty going forward, I can't recommend the game for this platform. I find it sad but illuminating that companies are willing to make games exclusive to the detriment of numerous fans who have put their time, money, and effort into their games. It shows where their loyalties lie - more to money than to the community.
