well, after many years we finally have the last content for vermintide 2 and this means the servers are on their way out.
since i haven't been able to play the game proper since the addition of EAC,
and the devs have been tone deft about major concerns and issues fallowing some api changes.
its clear Vermintide is not going to last vary long, and fatshark will be rather busy and all hands on deck for Darktide.

if you see this game on sale, don't bother. . . by the time you've installed the player numbers will likely be sub 100, or the servers will be non-functional.
save your money, save your time and go buy some other more recent game that don't require a 24/7 internet connection to function.

the one nail that lay o many coffins as of late is always online requirements.
wait for people to get this game in emulation if you're that desperate (should it ever make it that far.)

as for me. . . I'm not getting my money back. . .

New Grendel Rework ruins a perfectly good warframe by pandering to people who didn't want to bother learning a new warframe.
expect warframes you come to enjoy to be ruined out of nowhere by sudden reworks that have little to no feed back from community and ruin good things you enjoy.

Steer clear and Save your money, you'll need it for better things anyways.

A boring Slog to get though like trying to drive a monster truck with shopping cart wheels though a swamp
the in game market its stupid as well forcing the player to either pay real money for the good stuff or run pvp to have a chance at anything remotely usable, on top of that the play can't use any blueprint another player has made unless they own every single part and they can't even afford most parts.

there is a new story mode but its garbage forcing you to either wait and do PVP until you have at least some good parts that aren't white, and even then the first major boss gets purple tier rockets and 2 blue tier goons to pummel you inward while you just keep getting hit with tow cable traps. did i mention this mission is solo only?

and of course the driving its self is poorly thought out.
if you though Rage 2's driving was bad this game doesn't even try.
"Banjo-Kazooie Nutz & Boltz" had batter controls and that game was on bloody Xbox
on top of that most players aren't players if not enough players queue for a match it replaces them with a bot who is down right stupid and makes for a glorified handicap.

the only reason i tried it is because game kit was making an offer on it but unfortunately even that fell though because of shoddy servers.
oh yeah and unless you have the highest quality connection then you'll probably lose connection or bare witness to some of the worst latency.

this game feel like it was thrown together by some people from a post-apocalyptic waste dump.
not even the names work.
as most people sound like words on a dartboard or like some discount dancers from a low budget nightclub.

I advise against this free to pay game.

if you remeber the old twisted metal games and wanted a little more competitive bang for your buck.
then i'd say Heavy Metal Machines is your go to game with an interesting take on genre blending mixing moba elements with destruction durby gameplay and a carpocolypse art style. and that bang'n sound track of hard rock and heavy metal.

recommend you give it a try and hey its free so no real strings attached.

It has been know by the general public that for sometime now Battleborn as a game has fail to stand as a game.
Reguardless i still enjoy the story it has to tell, however thats just it most don't seeem to see the game as a clean slate.
Too many player walk in with the expectation that it will be just like overwatch or to some extent a "Massivly Popular Multiplayer First Person Shooter" and this mentality results in players not getting an enjoyable experience or leaving them in fustraition due to most of the high lvl players and original beta players going into ques with each other in full parties of 5 thus the Solos and new guys who lack communication are jumbled into radom makeshift parties thus a winner is chosen before the game ends.

As for ops and missions they get the point across just fine the levels are too long nor to difficult for new players only few minor gripes with some parts that need a slight change but outside of that the humor is generaly on point with that of Gearbox's flagship Borderlands

But again, I wouldn't be typing if I wasn't worried.

the biggest being that the game requires a 24/7 internet connection inorder to run, with is in place that means theres no real singleplayer per say more a solo run and one flicker of the connection will send you right to the tittle screen will all know progress of that mission gone. if gearbox does choose to move on what will happen to all of the game data?
Is that going to go as well?

the other problem is that the player base wants a "free-to-play" experience but with Paladins now taking attention tthat just won't happen and even if paladins had not been Gearbox put far too much money into Battleborn to do so.

There is work to be done but everytime someone leaves a que beause of slow que time or a bad match or a hacker they only kill the game more a ruin what is left of what should be a vary enjoyable game.
And that puts falut on both parties in this both Gearbox and whats left of the Community has to own up to it.
not even I'm free of the blame. but pointing fingers isn't going to bring players back, Just as Gearbox has done, I will keep playing and moving forward instead of complaing about what has happend in the past.
