What is there left to say, first things first: i have a little bit of a bias for this game. This was the second entry i ever played of the Persona franchise and Persona 3 has been the first game back then that has legitamately made me cry.

If you're familiar with other personas (probably 5), this one is a much much darker story, but that's one of it's greatest aspects, a great narrative with memorable companions and a 10/10 story. However, as many other people it's questionable why Portable was chosen instead of FES. The lack of cutscenes and the answer episode is what this lacks. But it's not entirely bad. It's also a good gateway to get into more Persona, especially now that the mods are out and for the most part fully developed. If all this enticed you and you want a more nostalgic fueled experience of my favourite game ever made, go for it, if not i would advise you to just buy Reload, arguably 3's definitive edition. :)

Wow.

This was my first entry of the Yakuza franchise i played myself. I followed the story along but never got into it and as a fan of RPG's i decided to use LAD as my first game.

Well, first off: incredible story. While it had a rough middle part, the last third of the game easily made it up with keeping me entertained and a genuinely well written story. 10/10.

Gameplay wise i'd give this a 6 or 7, whilst i am a fan of RPG's in general. I enjoyed the classic turn based fashion of the combat, it comes with bad decisions in LAD.

First of all: the game is very easy. Aside from a few roadblocks along the story, the main story can pretty much be breezed through. It doesn't help that an increase in difficulty is only available in NG+ onwards. Another thing regarding the combat is that inputs sometimes feel very clunky as when there are obstacles in the way, teammates tend to have issues with the pathfinding to enemies and always stand around for a bit. Other than that, i like the quicktime event style prompts that accompany combat, to not have it be just inputs.

Another small issue i had is the decision to lock outfits/customization in the overworld behind beating the game, just a silly decision. Aside from that, as a first try into the RPG thing after the Beat 'em up style gameplay, it's not bad and they seemed to have learned from these mistakes in Infinite Wealth.

Overall: a good game that i genuinely enjoyed.

I've been a long time fan of the Persona and SMT franchise. I started all the way back with P2: Innocent Sin/Eternal Punishment and have played every entry after and before. That being said Persona 3 has always held a special spot close to my heart with the memories associated with it. I've lost a good friend to an accident around the time that i first finished FES and playing this game always reminds me of her. Nostalgy aside, this is one of the darker stories of the franchise but probably one of if not the best one and the remake does not downgrade it in any way, if anything it just makes it better with everything that has been added inside and outside it's gameplay loop. Almost every SMT entry has managed to step close to me and or leave some kind of permanent impact on me and P3 was probably the first game ever that made me cry.

All that being said, this is a beautiful game and a faithful remake down to it's core. From story to gameplay to every little detail outside. If i would have to rank it i would give it a 9/10 and if the rumors about a "The Answer" DLC are true i would probably rate it even higher.

I have been a fan of the Remnant Franchise ever since Chronos, and have 100 percented both Remnant 1 and now it's sequel too and i can sincerely say that this is a great game. I considered Remnant: From the Ashes to be a really fresh take on the Soulslike genre, and it's Sequel did not dissapoint. It has great gameplay, very fun mechanics and with the Archetype System and the amount of stuff you can do with accessories you can find basically every mod and weapon and make it work somehow and this is one of Remnants greatest achievements in my eyes. Gameplay is great, atmosphere is really cool and fitting, good soundtrack, amazing and creative boss design and i'm not kidding when i say probably the best final boss to a game i have seen in YEARS. I completed the the hardest difficulty and experienced every boss and every alternate kill for these bosses and i have enjoyed every bit of it.

Long story short: if you like soulslike and don't mind a decent challenge with a world full of secrets and amazing bosses, go buy this game. It's worth every cent.
