Amazing game, lots of tiny atttention to detail in terms of animations and the progression systems being permanent also lets you progress without fomo, cash currency can be earned at a decent rate which allows players to buy anything they want from the store as long as you just play the game.
All in all, very fair system which rewards players for playing the game, which is already really solid as a base and all they need to do is to add more content into it and the game will certainly be a mainstay for a long time.

Early Access Review
This game really scratches my itch for a base builder game. Having different requirements and adding in the rogue-like aspects really spices things up for you as a player. What shocked me is as of this writing, the game is still in early access and is already filled to the brim with content.

Overkill did a good job at making a sequel to Payday: The Heist. They did that job very well, the guns handle better, theres more customization and theres even a skill tree that players can plan out their builds, this game really handles cooperation well and really allow players who mastered different things in their skill trees to work together. Everyone feels that they have a part to completing the heist and can feel the success of completing it.

BUT, I do not like the way this game plays out. The heists are boring and the game really becomes reptitive. With this new system of obtaining mods and masks it really makes the game a grind to play. The Heists arent all that well planned out either. In the original Payday: The Heist (which i enjoyed a lot mind you.) The escapes in the heists are really unique. For example, First World Bank. Who would have known that you could actually blow a hole in the wall and run through the building next to it? Heists in the original Payday brings in much more unique-ness and really makes the heists feel that were really really planned out. Payday 2's heists are like, Grab and dash to the van/helicopter. Even with the new 'DLC', the Armored Transport heists arent really that fun to play in the first place. Rob a bunch of vans and getting out in the van at the corner alive. Thats about it. I was really excited for the game's release but it has let me down with poorly planned heists and boring reptitive means of progression. Its a good game, but the quality of content isnt really that special.
