Alright some of these reviews are a little scuffed.

The point about this not being in commander mode as of right now is absolutely valid. that being said you can run the DLC in practice mode WITH AI TEAMMATES and still get the achievements and all that jazz. so anyone saying this is a multiplayer only DLC literally has not clicked the buttons on their screen.

the maps themselves are pretty interesting, the level of environmental story telling that was in the regular maps is also present here as well which is nice to see. Narco's being one of the more interesting maps to play through. Dorms is probably the weakest map in the pack considering it just kinda feels like "What if we did Twisted Nerve, but wet!"

as for the guns they are kinda lacking in my opinion. The Raider being the most disappointing, the rifle i was sceptical about how much i would ever use it but after running it a bit i've come to enjoy using it. Along with the new pistol which will more than likely become the new pistol I primarily use. So we have one dud gun and the rest feel good. the reason I say its lacking is because ill generally fall back guns i used previously instead of using these guns (which the exception of the pistol.)

I wont touch on things like the Unreal engine change and enemy AI as these are specific to the DLC. but the update all around feels pretty good.

the only real complaint i have is having more content like this feels like a long time coming. i hope in the future Void adds DLC more regularly.

its absolutely worth 10 bucks.

So far im loving the game! everything feels really awesome the only complaints i have right now are:

Depending or not if its your thing, the game seems like it could be turned into a game with many micro transactions

Ie: buying Items or perferably Cosmetics.

the other thing i kind of have a slight problem with is the final objective

Once that exit opens its every man for himself. which isnt always a bad thing but when the guy who bails gets a massive bonus, while the others who go and help buddy out, say they fail and the other 3 die. get many less points. im talking like 8000 less points. which is about 2 games lets say.


BUT my complaints with the game are really minor at this point, mostly because i know grouping with friends is something they will add shortly. AT LEAST I HOPE
