I think this game is about 5x as fun as it needs to be.

Valheim is the type of game that I'll think about on my deathbed and be like "damn, those were the good days..." *dies*

Me, 1-2 Hours into the game: "This game has loot boxes AND a battle pass and I'll have to grind to even get a decent amount of racers. I don't know if I can commit to this at all."

Me, 35 hours into the game: "I can't stop the grind... I love the grind."

As someone who likes a lot about the new Tomb Raider trilogy, as well as the previous games, Tomb Raider: Legend just has a level of pure campy fun that I miss in the new ones. The platforming is fun, the puzzles are challenging and interesting, and the combat just feels nice. The story also feels extra Indiana Jones-like in this one with some fun and unexpected twists.

In terms of cons, there are a couple of aiming problems that annoyed me occasionally, and occasional wonky glitches. In reality, the worst I got out of performance was occasional crashing, which gets fixed 100% for me when "next generation content" is turned off. There are far less problems than I expected given that I didn't even look for patches or anything.

Overall, Tomb Raider: Legend is definitely one of my favorites in the series. Especially as a follow up to how janky The Angel of Darkness was, Tomb Raider: Legend was a much-needed redemption indeed!

Best Neptunia game by far, in my opinion! The gameplay loop is fun and the achievement hunting is satisfying. Fun visuals and enemies. Goo.
