He bought them because he thought the skin looked "like fire or whatever." He's 14. He now has more liquid assets than me.

I went to a financial advisor. A REAL financial advisor. I showed him my Steam inventory. He asked me what "StatTrak" means. I tried to explain float values. He asked me to leave.

My wife found my investment spreadsheet. She thought I was hiding a gambling addiction. I WISH it was gambling. At least the casino is honest about taking your money. Valve just casually dropped a blog post and destroyed the entire market structure.

I'm switching to index funds. The S&P 500 never rug pulled me. Vanguard never randomly let you trade 5 ETFs for a yacht. I'm done. I'm out.
