A game inspired by many giants of today. Survival Horror giant like Resident evil, psychological horror Silent Hill, and a story you could argued inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion. With all of these elements brings forth a breath of fresh air in the Survival Horror Genre and one I hope that Yuri and her team return to This game is absolutely my game of the year. I loved Elden Ring. But I find myself constantly thinking about Signalis and the potential if it becomes more than just one game. I can't wait to see more from the developers in the future.

Despite the price tag of the DLC and full game, this game i cannot recommend enough. The amount of content is staggering and there's a faction for every play style. Whether it be a fast rush faction like the Greenskins and the Skaven or a more turtle faction like the wood elves or the Dwarfs. The unit variety is so staggering that even after putting in over 500 hours, i cannot get enough of it. That's not even including the copious amount of mods that can completely change how the game is played. Grimhammer (SFO), Radious, and CTT just to name a few. These overhauls can add their own incredibly well detailed units, completely change how a faction is played, and how battles actually progress.

The game is not perfect as there are some minor issues with the game, usually stuff in the background. When the previous DLC released (The Warden & The Paunch). The game was a broken mess for a few months. Damage buffs weren't working, the Orcs and Norscans confederation mechanic wasn't working, the winds of magic gambling button wasn't working and so on. There seems to be a large amount of bugs that pop up when new content is added or a major patch. So be weary when the upcoming DLC releases (The Twisted & the Twilight) as there may be loads of bugs. Another issue i had was their raising the price of the lords DLC by a dollar. Personally i have an issue when corporations raise the price of their product without giving a warning, especially for content that was released well over a year ago. It's nothing to serious, however i wish CA or Sega would give players a heads up as there was 2 price increases in a little over a year (from 7.99 to 9.99). With little to no word.

At this time, i would recommend you buy both Warhammer 1 and Warhammer 2. The reason for this is, if you buy Warhammer 1 along with 2, you unlock Mortal Empires which combines the two games into one map. Also every DLC you buy in the previous game, carries over to the second. so all the factions from the first game, including the DLC units and factions can be played in mortal empires. The vortex campaign is okay, depending on the faction you play but mortal empires is where the true fun is.
