So how do I start this review...

First of all I want to talk about all the good sides this game has. It's undeniably one of the best FPS if not one of the best Multiplayer Games of all time regarding core mechanics. The weapons are balanced, the movement is smooth and the game just feels "right" in general. You meet a ton of great people have fun playing games all night long and just collect wonderful experiences.

So why do I don't play this game actively anymore?

Counter Strike: Global Offensive has developed in such a way that it just doesn't make any sense to play it anymore. Previously people played this game for what it is but now everyone is just obsessed with skins. You have people spending 5000$+ on virtual items and having over 2000h+ playtime but ~20 matches played in total. These are people who spent 100% of their time trading on CS:GO Lounge or worse betting on sites like CS:GO Jackpot. I think Twitch.tv is a great example for this. If you look at the top 10 most watched streams 9 out of them are just people throwing away their money on Jackpot Sites and the real good streamers who actually play the game are unnoticed. 99% of the people who get into this game nowadays will take this as an example. They don't see this game as a shooter but as a moneywaste simulator.

If you like games who will entertain you for thousands of hours while still offering new things everytime you play I can only recommend this to you but keep in mind that the CS:GO community is one of the most toxic and cancerous ones out there.
