Every time I launch the game I just instantly skip two full hours of the day, and by the time I think I'm gonna go eat lunch.. it's already midnight.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is good.

Genuinely in my Top 3 favorite games of 2024.
Gigantic congratulations to the Devs for pulling off such an amazing and fun game.

This game can be summarized by: FNaF: Security Breach if it was good.

I've been waiting this one for a while! Indigo Park is one of those Mascot Horror games that try to bring in light to the genre like Poppy Playtime & Finding Frankie to fight back against the horrible low-quality and mass-produced Mascot Horror Games that covered it in sh*t for the past year or so just like Garten of BanBan.

It features absolutely STUNNING 2D Animation and Voice Acting of Rambley, clearly being the absolute highlight of the entire game as well as an absolute banger of an OST.
The graphics and setpieces were alright and the collectible system to encourange replayability was pretty cool but since I got all of them in one try I don't need to. A good thing that I'd love to see would be Steam Achievements.

However...
It had some things that were bitter.

For example the most important thing, horror, was pretty much non-existant. 90% of the playthrough was just the enemy peaking at you with some loud noise and that's it, it was spooky for one time but after that it felt forced and only made me exhale out my nose.

There were also some mini-bugs here and there but nothing too annoying, apart from that soft-lock bug at the Critter Store in which if you press the button before the door closes, Rambley gllitches and then you're stuck forever and need to start a new game; quite annoying but will probably be patched up in a couple of days.

And last negative point being that almost 80% of the areas had absolutely zero environmental music, only source of sounds being the tiny ambient noises and your footsteps. Couple of that we the lack of details in some areas and it really felt like a walking simulator.

Final Rating
15/20 (A-)

Here's my hopes for the future of Indigo Park:
  • Significantly better horror, not just the monster doing a cheap peek-a-boo and then leaving. The blood at the end of the chase was pretty nice but it needs more spread throughout the game.
  • On the same topic, better chase sequences. Or you can try out something else than chase sequences, could also be cool.
  • Steam Achievements
  • Better environments and setpieces, the jungle jim area with polished clean structures felt like I was in a kids game.

Look, it fails at being a Remake of Resident Evil 3.
But on its own it's still a really great experience.

A phenomenal indie death game by the incredibly talented Mike Klubnika.
Don't miss out on this one hell of a game.
And besides, if you loved 21 from Resident Evil 7 like I did or Inscription, then don't even hesitate on buying this game.

Not paying this DLC for the Cubes.
But as a genuine thank you for you Devs for making quite literally the Best Portal 2 Mod of all time.

I want that the Money that I paid for this OST directly goes to the Musician for making such amazing songs that accompanied me during my multiple sleepless nights.

This looked like it has been playtested a total of zero times.
Not only do you get killed almost every 20 seconds because of how fast the enemies are, but also because of how slowly the Bloom'O'Bang takes to recharge to defend yourself, which makes the jumpscares not even scary but irritating.

And I won't even talk about the puzzles, they felt like they were DESIGNED to waste as much time as possible. Not only does the platforming suck, but the physics also does.

More about those 'puzzles', there are those Spring-Loaded Planks that can fling you to the other side of the area if you stand on the right spot which sounds really fun on paper, but in execution it is horrible. You stand one inch from where you were supposed to stand, and it will make you fall off and make you lose often around 10 minutes of progress.

A solution found by players were to just spam the 'Save Game' button so that if the X you were standing on were the incorrect one, you could get back up and not make it infuriating; which is the problem. Instead of actually making your puzzles fun and not revolve around RNG we have to result to spamming the Save button.

Another thing about the game purposefully wasting your time, you'll find yourself running on really time-consuming Mazes, 'Puzzles' where you need to spam every lever and find the correct one and if you find the incorrect one you basically get killed by a Monster (or else it would not be fun obviously) and yeah overall the Game is a really big waste of your Time.

But the game is not entirely horrible, it's not Garten-Of-BanBan levels of horrible.
The game features a really really well done atmosphere and environments, coupled with nice Monster designs that are always pretty cool to look at.
The graphics were also beautiful and especially in the Aquarium, this section was awesome and definitely was the highlight of the Game.

Overall, I think Zoonomaly can have a really cool future if the Dev. makes multiple and major Quality-of-Life Improvements as well as the overall Balancing to the Game; if these things are taken care of, I can most definitely see myself giving Zoonomaly another chance and maybe then it'll be worth the money spent on it.
But until then, it is not.

Absolutely extraordinary.
Chapter 1 & 2 feels like a baby game now that I've played Chapter 3.

The game is so fun, looks insanely beautiful, and perfected the Horror aspect SO FRICKING WELL that honestly I cannot recommend this game enough.

Absolute perfection of a Horror Game, can't wait to see Chapter 4.
