My first ever paradox game I had bought. For that reason, it has a special place in my heart. I love this game, as I love WW2, but this game does have some big flaws.

Pros:
Scope (I can play as any nation in WW2 even if it is very limited)
You can feel the nature of combined arms through the game mechanics.
The music and sound effects are pretty good.
Can play with DLC not owned online if the host owns it.
Mod support.

Cons:
Lacks in-depth features that were present in HOI3 e.g. money, HQs, supply depot, proper guerrilla and partisan
Poor performance late game
Some DLCs are essential as the base game is very shallow in some areas e.g. game focuses and flavour

I would recommend this game to anyone who loves WW2 games or is a big fan of grand strategy.
