Early Access Review
For being the Sequel of Ender Lilies, there's definitely improvement in the game. Main Character can now speak, you can communicate with your Spirit/Homunculi when you're at the CHAIR and the combat feels more crispier or smoother than Ender Lilies, not saying Ender Lilies have bad combat, it's still good. The only worry about the game is that we might not get as much Spirit/Homunculi as Ender Lilies because every mini-boss you've defeated the Spirit/Homunculi cannot be used. Still have very high hope for the game.

I love the music, art, story/lore and almost everything about this game. Also NewGame-Plus is additional experience that I suggest after finishing the game. I'm waiting for the sequel.

Deemo -Reborn- is a whole new reborn of Deemo from mobile port, it's one of my childhood mobile game I absolutely still adored to this day comparing to other mobile game's story. No voice is needed and it has told an great story ever compare to other mobile game at the time.
Pros
  • The story is really good! The story is the same as original Deemo but with extra stuffs here and there. It's one of the tragic that still made me cry. There's some additional story compare to mobile which adds up the tragic.
  • It also played like original Deemo but on VR. However if you played the game without VR it'll played like traditional 6 Key or 7 Key if you're including space bar, rhythm game.
  • The old easter eggs is still there which was the clue for 1.0 for detail about 2.0 original Deemo before 2.0 came out.
  • The Puzzle in the game, it took me a while to figure a puzzle but realize everywhere is linked on to specific puzzles. It's quite challenging is very fun to do as a fresh start.
  • The Model of the game looks nice.
  • Additional new music that isn't in original Deemo is in the game.
  • VR mode require sometime of getting used and surprisingly it's actually enjoyable, and it kinda remind me of playing beat saber IN SOME WAY. (Beware sometime you will hit your controller to each other at some music, Play safe!)
Cons:
  • Compare to Original Deemo, the Original Deemo have a lot more music than reborn, especially Original Deemo music, DLC, Collab, and the Hour Glass Expansion which I hope they add the Hour Glass... I want my Marigold, and the after story room. At some point I feel like Reborn is at 2.0 state of Deemo.
  • VR mode seem to only have two difficulty easy, and hard. (I don't think it's a bad thing to not have normal mode but for some maybe. I have a guilty pleasure to just rush into the hardest difficulty of the music to get used the song)
  • There is no such thing as Extra difficulty which is consider harder than Hard.
My Personal thoughts:
Yes I think the game is worth purchasing, I enjoy the puzzle a lot, and I love the atmosphere of the game theme. I still love the game and I am waiting for Deemo 2 since they released the concept video of it and the teasers. I believe as time goes on they probably will add the Hourglass and all other music. I am looking at you Hourglass... THOSE JUICY STUFF!
