Honestly I just hate to love this game, I've spent 1244 hours of my life in this game. It just saddens me to see how Ubisoft is unable to listen to it's players.

It's lattest update and "upgrade" to DX12 being my main reason to write this.

Despite all the noise everyone makes about cheaters, it has never been an issue for me, I rarely have encountered cheaters, and I recognize it as an issue every online pvp game faces, so I don't mind it a lot.
However the balancing shows: Ubisoft does not listen to it's players, and does not care about it's playerbase.
And the change to DirectX 12 also exemplyfies that, the removal of the Vulkan launcher already made a few people unable to play, and now the removal of DirectX 11 has shown that more players can't launch their game, and many more are experiencing stutters and frame drops. It feels just sad to see how the low end players are being just abandonned by the game, me being one of them.

I can no longer play this game despite nothing major being added since the last updates, of which used to be able to play normally, and I feel cheated, abandoned and robbed. C'mon Ubisoft, if you're going to make the game unplayable, at least give us our money back.

The game has improved a lot since the last updates, it deserves a second chance if you have quit it before.

If you're interested in starting to play, I say give it a chance, there's no other game like War Thunder and it is really worth it. Whoever I must say that this game has a ton of mechanics and can be really tough and oppressive to get good at the game.
