Many negative reviews for this game are due to the performance issues at launch, and while I agree there have been some frustrating issues and workarounds to get the game to run smoothly, there have been several patches which have made the game run a lot better.

Performance aside, Respawn have done a downright brilliant job with the story and continuation from Fallen Order. You can clearly see the care that has been taken in building the narrative and the characters that are encountered along the way. From making the dialogue and clumsiness of B1 battle droids very accurate to the films, to little references and additions that relate to the wider Star Wars universe and things that we have seen in the movies and recent TV series. The effort that has been taken really makes this a nice addition to the Star Wars universe.

There are several moments with great humour, banter and interactions that really help develop connection with the characters, while having some really gorgeous environments to explore. Combat is also extremely satisfying (although it was done well in Fallen Order as well), and it really adds to absorbing you into the gameplay and forgetting what time it is.

And lastly, my favourite encounter in the game - hats off to the dev humour - but Rick will now always be the Hero of the Empire. Your utter commitment was astonishing to witness as you screamed the whole way down the corridor to meet your demise.

All in all, this was an amazing experience and highly recommend.
