If you took Dark Souls combat and level design and made it worse, you'd get The Surge.

The first 3 levels of the game are fairly well put together and the combat is bearable.
However, stage 4 is one of the worst designed levels I've played in a long time.
A combination of absolute horrible level design and just the same long range overpowered enemies for every corridor give it a comparable feeling to jamming a tooth pick under your fingernail.

As of right now, the game is too buggy.
I'll update this to a positive review when the developers can make the game stable

Why are developers allowed to set a game as "full release" and not "in development" when the game barely runs 99% of the time?

I'd suggest this game to people if you want buggy as ♥♥♥♥ gameplay and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ p2p servers
