Well, with the latest expansion (Monster Trucks) I realized that the game is just a cash cow, for adult nostalgics. The base game together with all add-ons (DLCs) costs a total of almost 200 € . And that's only 8 months after release ... so there's more to come.

The game itself is quite nice, but from my point of view already not worth the 50 € it costs...

if you want to wait for extended editions then GOTY and Ultimate editions are good and combine many DLCs - but still these are only released piece by piece and if you want to play an expansion earlier you always have to pay the original price (DLC) first AND also the price for the main game

I can currently recommend the GOTY Edition (on sale), so you can get away with a lot of expansions cheaply at the moment

War schon grausam zu sehen, das man 50eus für son rotz Game ausgab und jetzt für 5eus hinterher geschmissen wird.

Im looking at the ultimate version for 45$ wtf your 200$ you should buy passes. Only buy single cars when thats all you want you dont have to buy every car in a single manner

WOW only 8 months?? They didn't even wait a year of polish before going to Hamburg with DLC.

Yeah, this seems to be more and more a standard practice for many games. It is a shame that the business has turned into this greedy cash cow. Some people might complain but the majority seems to be totally fine with it from what I have been seeing. This is already a more and more worse getting practice for years now. You are hard pressed to find a AAA game without tons of editions or DLCs, which are often just a new character or car. And they want 5 dollar or more for each and everyone of them. The pricing is just sad at this point and ultimately I just ignore these games until there might be cheap complete packs after some years. This and the Epic Store exclusives are the reason I spend less and less time playing... It is a tragedy how the business destroys a once beloved hobby by many but as I said, the majority seems to be fine with it and even support this milking by buying everything.

hatte es mir auch geholt!
So ansich isses ja nen lustiges Game.. aber ich als 21:9 User, hatte erstmal 6 Monate kein Feedback was Ultra Wide Screen support angeht.
Erstmal fleißig DLC rausbringen und am Ende vllt mal auf die Community hören.
Mittlerweile hat dieses Spiel Ultra Wide Screen Support...
nur halt nicht im Menu .... aber auch so ist mir die Lust vergangen.

Valve machts einfach. Regionale Preise und seitdem einige Publisher angefangen haben "modulare" Spiele für ca. 120€ zu verkaufen ist zwar etwas Zeit vergangen aber man merkt durch die Bank weg dass Anbieter gieriger geworden sind... bei gleichbleibender Qualität und den ewig selben Inhalten....

Aber die Leute kaufen und auf die Masse gesehen, die die verzichten und den Wahnsinn nicht mitmachen, haben nicht wirklich Gewicht... Mir fehlt auch immer noch ne vernünftige Auszeichnung. Begriffe wie "Ultimate und haste nich gesehen Edition" sollte ersetzt werden durch "Vollversion". Alles andere was zerstückelt verkauft wird ist bestenfalls ein halbfertiges Produkt.

uuf. das is wirklich schon harter toback. battle pass und dlcs für nen spiel das schon 50 öcken kosted? Schon dreißt nech. wenns wenigstens F2P wär könnt mans verstehen aber so? Echt nicht.
