The ideal mount & musket game, with a growing community complete with line battles, tournaments, and the like.

I can no longer recommend this game.

It is a very pretty, immersive, and overall mechanically okay game.

However, it's pretty vile to join an official public server
and hear slur after slur being openly encouraged.

Not only that, if you even try to say anything remotely against this behavior, you will
be spawn camped by your own teammates and killed repetitively.

On, mind you, the only populated and publicly run server during prime time.

Whoever likes the game, awesome! Like I said, it's very pretty, and is
one of the few immersive line battle games on Steam.

The private events in the game might be fine, but I saw most of the slurs coming
from people with regiment tags in their usernames, which are the members
of the community running those private events.

Open calls of hard authoritarian nationalism are also spouted constantly,
in line with the slurs and other distasteful behavior.

Developers please moderate your game, or keep stimulating another breeding ground for people that think that
such behavior is acceptable, and is able to normalize these things among impressionable young people.

If you think this is a non-issue, I used to be one of those impressionable youths and was indoctrinated
into authoritarian, racist thought at a young age by similar communities inside video games.

It's just sad to see the same things being repeated so openly.

There is a reason why this game is overwhelmingly positive. And no, it is not just weaboos praising waifus. The game is a very indepth, and emotionally pleasing experience to bartend through, giving me some of my favorite characters I will have ever had the pleasure of serving digital drinks to in video games.

To put it seriously, this game is one of the first of MANY video games to evoke something in me I can't really describe. I have went through tons of 'thought' provoking games, and plethoras of visual novels. but this is in a whole other ball park, with its amazing story telling, bartending action gameplay, and superior indepth characters compared to the usual character stereotypes that you can usually expect from waifu=♥♥♥♥ games. Sure they still have their own anime trope type thing with some characters, but Sukeban Games has made sure to put meticulous work to each of them, making sure that each and every character feels lovable (or hateable, to all you steampunk curators out there) as well as just likeable in general.

I wasn't actually going to write a spiel for this. I usually just write a dumb meme, laugh at it, and leave. But this game deserves so much more than just a dumb inside joke to the people that have played the game. It is worth $14.99, and most likely triple that, honestly. I have been eyeing this game for the past three months, and I am so disappointed with myself I wasn't here on release day. A game has not made me feel this passionate, and honestly overjoyed that it purely exists for what it is. The best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cyberpunk bartending action you will ever experience, and most likely WILL ever experience.
