Alright before I start I want to say this:

The game itself is perfectly fine, I prefer it over the original Dead Rising 2 and I still had fun with both, but that's not why I'm giving this a negative review.

The reason I'm giving it one is because of a general lack of support of any kind:
* No proper controller support (that isn't broken as all hell, even the fix only works sometimes), key board and mouse only works well when you're playing with the guns and even then that takes the fun out of the game
* No options for Windowed Mode
* DLC Support is gone
* Online mode, if you actually find someone to play with, barely works.

And considering Capcom Vancouver is completely dead, I doubt these will ever be fixed.
If you really want to play DR 2, just go play it on 360 and you'll get not only some of the above fixed, it's the only platform that has the "complete experience", so to speak.

Really cool idea, just executed in a way that makes the game more boring than fun.

If it's on sale and you have kids, by all means go ahead and get it

It's pretty much everything great about Newgrounds during the 2000s mixed with some incredibly solid beat em up action. Many Friday Nights were spent playing this absolute gems. Highly recommended.

No joke, you'll be spending way more time and money on the god tier character creation more than the game itself.

I've never played a game with this much soul in my entire life, it's the video game equivalent of a Saturday Morning Cartoon.

Fantastic Character Creation system, nice anime tiddies, Good (enough) combat, alright story decent twist leading to the fact it's a stealth sequel to the God Eater franchise

But the level design was weird, in that alot of the time you need to move the camera to the edge of different platforms to find other places to progress. The online support is awful in that I can't play with people from other regions except my own. The Denuvo DRM really slows down my rig; and playing with a partner makes the game WAY too easy, while playing without a partner makes the game WAY too hard.

But when I did have fun, I had a ton of fun. Get the game for $40 at the very most.
