Ruined it. Undo every change made to this game since launch and only then can it be called fixed.

Just played through calamity again, and it is some good ♥♥♥♥. Wish tmodloader was for 1.4 though. Haven't ran into any issues with the 32 bit version or whatever everybody's complaining about, although i like to keep my modpacks pretty small and focused on one kind of mod. Mixing and matching big content mods is a problem because of balancing issues with the items, especially post moonlord.

As a longtime fan of the previous game my friend telling me this game dropped was a huge thing for me. This game really came a long way from the previous installment and it shows an example of a sequel done right. The developers are very open to suggestions and there are consistent updates and balance changes. I am excited to see where this game will end up once the developers are satisfied with it.

Base game is fun, but the modding community makes it legendary 10/10. If you have any sort of VR but don't have this game then what are you doing?

When you play it make sure to have a friend to help guide you through it tho. This game can get confusing if you don't know what you are doing

What personally makes this game spark for me is the amount of difference there is when you play it again. First of all there are 4 main classes:
Melee: Tank
Ranger: DPS
Mage: Support
Summoner: Challenge (u gonn die)

Each class is different from others, and you can switch at any time by using a different gear set, and weapons.

Second, Bossfights:
There are many MANY bossfights in this game. The thing i love about them is how you can never prepare too much for a boss. There will always be a time where you underestimate a boss, and get creamed. The fights are tough, but can be overcome with enough preparations.

Third, Progression:
The game goes like this:
prepare for boss
kill boss
explore new place
prepare for boss
etc.
You are hardly ever kept away from a place, but the game makes it so that the place is harder to stay alive in without better gear. It's very easy to go to a powerful place and get some good gear early on, with the risk of dying a lot.

Fairly Good Modding Community

Cons:
Some Minor Multiplayer Connection Bugs Involving People Using Steam To Connect Rather Than IP's (easy fix)
Confusing For Blind Runs

TLDR:
Very replayable, good for playing with friends, good boss battles, hard to understand without guide.
