I may be biased as an Armored Core fan but I love Armored Core

It's so cute. A must play for any sonic fans!

THis game has so many problems in terms of development. I'm gonna continue playing it but I really REALLY don't recommend it. Just as the most notable minor annoyance is the game doesn't know how to patch properly. After downloading a new patch or bugfix, it gets frozen at 100% for 5 to 10 minutes. I thought it was a me problem but everyone i talked to has this issue.

It's fun with friends. That's about it.

Not a big fan to be honest. I was expecting more stat customization as far as "builds" go, but there's only a "level up" function, and then choosing the archetype you want to use at the moment. What I mean by that is, there's no leveling strength or dexterity separately, you just level up, and then choose if you want to be a juggernaut or stealth boy. The gameplay gets pretty repetitive too as well. I didn't really feel like I ever needed to mix up my combat style, although admittedly I didn't finish the game. I finally quit in an area where you run around a number of bridges over bottomless pits, and everything looks more or less exactly the same. It's a maze of bland whiteness with a few monster houses to kill you.
It has a very in depth character creator which is nice, but i feel that was all the game was really offering. I just can't recommend this game.

It's just not very fun. The main game mechanic means accepting you have to let your characters die over and over which is a major turn off. You have to plan out how far you can go in a dungeon not by any of the many many many resource meters, but instead when your characters are just going to drop dead out of nowhere on you of old age. You have to change the difficulty meter repeatedly in this game, as it actually expects you to toggle it up and down based on where you're at and the resources you need to collect. Obviously this is all very subjective but I just found the game very miserable to play. One of the only games I just dropped.

I like the game, however it asked me to stop playing, so I haven't touched it since.

Absolutely fantastic, but why can't I get the original on steam? I know EA offered it as a pre order bonus back at launch, shouldn't it be up by now?
