Game is great the sound design the quality and the you don't need to grind the game its just a fun laid back game. (Also the game is free)

Devs just sorta gave up on the community and refuse to patch any of the DLC's unless they really break their game. Spend $10 on getting a DLC which never gets updates and nor does the base game itself, devs would rather spend their time "listening" to the community by releasing updates that aren't really needed comepared to other updates needed such as multiplayer optimization, new content for DLC's, and more variants of blocks that aren't DLC locked. This game has the same DLC buying as something like Space Engineers where you can play the base game but, you can't build anything from the workshop if you don't have the items and you can't really enjoy the game or explore with a full sandbox.

After consideration, that Arma 3 is a game that is fine. I want my steam GOTY reward and I want it now.

The game is, Great. fun. and might ruin friend ships but its mostly fun. But there is three thing that would make the game fun 1. in game voice chat so it is easy to commiucate. 2. imposter only chat so you can communicate with fellow imposters. those are two thing that they devs could add in, the other thing that the devs cant fix is that players need to play smarter and better that is showing but their is still alot of those players which only say the person is sus get them out. anyway the game is 4/5 and if those were added then the game would be 5/5. :)

Game-play loop gets boring and it just a pain to start up and with the story there doesn't really have a satisfaction with building up the "ultimate raft" as it is the same game-play loop over and over again. Start out on a piece of wood, use hook to grab wood and other materials, build up raft and get nets, getting nets takes way to long, sit around catching stuff for 15-30 mins, build more nets to catch more stuff for you, start building a sail so you can actually go somewhere, find island, run around and jump off while the collisions are just bugging out on you, build a battery and island radar, go to the main islands and complete the game. If you restart it just doesn't click it doesn't have a great replay-ability level 6/10.

After playing this game for much longer, this game gets boring after time and there isn't much you can do after a point without modding everything.

The humans don't really give a reaction to when anything happens and I feel like that is a downside with the game as they will just stand there and do nothing. This will result in just lifeless game play and it feels very boring after 50+ hours and when you do mod it to add reactions to humans they can just get annoying, the workshop community for this game is 90% 10 yr children and it is just a whole bunch of copy and paste of the same creations making it hard to find anything interesting. Also when you try to post something in the workshop you have to manually go to the files to change the thumbnail which feels like it should've gotten changed by now.

This game just lacks QoL features and just doesn't become as you play more (25-50+ hrs sometimes only 5 hrs if you don't mod it) and the workshop community is made mostly of just little kids getting mad at other people for leaving, rejecting an idea, etc.

The game just feels like an endless loop now-a-days and just doesn't provide a good connection when playing like it used to, this is most likely due to the fun people in the community leaving and us growing up but, the game is just filled with mic spammers and 11 yr olds that shouldn't even be able to touch this game.

I have never really wanted to launch this game anymore, it was a part of my life until I played Arma3 which isn't really comparable besides military. You are able to dig holes and setting up a good base is always fun however, it is much better in the paid WW2 variant of this game.
