Very good game, fun and all ... after the 1.2 patch it just got better :)

This is one of the best fps ever period :D

I was very reluctant when I heard about toxicity etc ... But choose your servers wisely and you'll be ok.
I started out in a PVE only server to get the hang of it, but I wanted the pressure from PVP.
So I joined a PVP but with admins and stuff ... not wanting to throw myself in the 'real' Rust too fast xD

I must say I enjoy the game more than I expected :)

Don't let the negative reviews hold you back like I did at first :)

I'm playing solo for now so it's a good thing to check out some solo tutorials before you start.

[EDIT] Made a new friend ... playing now is double the fun :D

There has to be a first time for everything. So here is my first review.

Now I haven't played this game for a year, but I always come back to see if it's finally done. It pains me that I still can read the warning => "THIS GAME IS EARLY ACCESS ALPHA. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE IT UNLESS YOU WANT TO ACTIVELY SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME AND ARE PREPARED TO HANDLE WITH SERIOUS ISSUES AND POSSIBLE INTERRUPTIONS OF GAME".

I can honestly say the atmosphere is one of the best I have ever seen in a game. The survival is really nicely done. We (me and some friends) once walked into an ambush and we spent hours in cover hiding from enemy snipers. Best time of my life in a game. This game feels like walking into a real apocalypse where you have to watch out for everything. The world is extremely hostile.

BUT I cannot recommend this game. Please don't buy it. This game is the reason why I will never buy an Early Access game ever again :(
