Best map.
Wide open fields.
Elevated points for watching the wide open fields.
Little to no lakes so animals gather at certain times around these few lakes and you can shoot whatever you want.
Rockys look great to.
Map is just fun to play on.

Good map for low Class animals.
Only Class 1 (like Birds or Hares) and Class 2 ( Fox and Raccons).
Only downside.... There are 3-4 DLCs needed and lots of progress.
You need the Pointer Dog and the Retriever Dog, tents and groundblinds and the modern Hunting pack with the "Remote Caller" to fully enjoy duckhunting.
Pointer Dog can flush Ducks and/or pheasants while the Retriever.... Well the name says it all. Pick up the Ducks you shoot down for you. And if one of this dogs reaches LvL 15 this one Dog can do both jobs (you NEED both DLCs for this).
The remote caller calls 2 species at the same time so you can attract 2 sorts of ducks.
The tents are needed for teleporting and the groundblinds for hiding.
So basicly 4 additional DLCs to enjoy this ONE map. Yeah... You can still play this map without this other DLCs.... But its less enjoyable.

So if you got all DLCs up to this one? Its great. If this is your first DLC ? Its bad.... You can still do everythign without problems but its not very good.

Short: It´s a great Sim! But a bad game....

Long: Like I alrdy said... The Simulation aspect is great. Most realistic hunting game out there. Animals behave realistic (according to real hunters... Not gamer hunter. But Idk this people so myb they tell BS) , guns feel realistic , world is designed realistic. But after all this realism... There is no "game".
"Just play it on easy mode!" I did. I tried.
"Just play it on hardest for a challange!" I did. I tried.
"You just didnt aimed right! Or wrong ammo and gun!" You may be right. But there is the next problem... I need to look at the "books" to confirm the energy needed to oneshot prey BEFORE my shot. So I know how close I need to get BEFORE I use "hunter sense". Need to adjust and keep an eye on population managment.
"But you played the Hunter! Whats the difference!". the Hunter feels like a game with "hunting" roots. While "Way of the Hunter" feels like "a hunt that cosplays as a game".
I play games for fun. If I rly wanna hunt I would join a real hunting group.
So like I said... Its the best hunting "game" out there. But its a bad game.

And technic wise... its still bad... Like I remember in 2022. Rendering problems , stutter problems , fps drops out of nowhere.

I will play it from time to time... But I will still play "the Hunter more" because of more maps , more weapons and being a game.
But if YOU enjoy a hardcore sim hunting its the best game for you!

Let's be honest... this DLC is basicly a must have for Bow hunting.
The bow sight shows you where and how to shoot if you range it. If you know the spots you need to hit it's basicly instant oneshot.
Night Vision Scope and Binos are a good addition but not necessary. They only help to spot better at night.
IF they would have added a "perma night vision" and/or thermal it would be better. But all in all?
In sale , it's okay. But this features should be included in basic version

Feels a lot like my favorit maps combined. Wide open fields , rocky mountaines with chance to watch potential pray , rivers with good cover to sneak up. And you can Hunt down Beavers.
All in all , solid map!
But for people who dislike snow maps its the worst.

Only thing missing for me: More bunnys. I need and want more bunnys on more maps.

Its a great game! In a lot of ways! :

- Challanging gameplay (atleast for people like me that dont play this slasher type games often)
- Its a OPTIMISED GAME DAY ONE (1) !!!
- looks very good! Not like Battlefield 1 visuals but we will never ever get this days back I feel....
- Story, so far atleast, is good too! Reminds me of all the other games.... Like Nier ... Or NIKKE =`D (Who would have thought. Right?). So its nothing new. But I think we basicly got every possible story in human history. There is nothing new.
- EVE is ... great. Shes "relateable" , she is strong , shes "human" and she stays "female". She got flaws and shes perfect in certain ways. Nothing like.... Veilguard crap. Or Last of Us 2 Abby gorilla. And lets be honest. Shes hot ASF too. EVERYBODY loves too look at good looking people. Except for trash beeings that get jealous because "their beauty standard" isnt promoted.
- Only con for a few people. Maybe... Controller is basicly needed. And with PS4/PS5 Controller you get "most out of it" because of Dual Shock (you need to press the triggers harder because they want to simulate how real triggers of guns handle)

Because I know there are people commenting (because I allow them. I wanna see the show).
1. "She doesnt look like a human!" - Shin Jae-eun and Yoon Seolhwa modeled for her.
2. "Why oversexualise her!?" - Sex sells. And with a body like this... You dont dress like you want to hide everything. You wanna show the work (workouts) you did and show your proud of yourself (self respect and love)
3. "Why a female MC" - Oh gawd.... The people who think this is a DEI move are the worst.... There is a easy explanation at point 2. , SHIFT Up made NIKKE , a Game about female robots/androids/cyborgs and they stayed true to this. And IF humanity creates fighting robots to clear earth from aliens. Do you wanna look at Primarchs like in Warhammer or at EVEs with short dresses and Bikinis? Thought so. Primarchs in Bikinis is the right choice.

So ... Is this game good? Yes. Its fun and pleasent to look at. In a lot of ways.
Is it running smooth? Yes. And its running great und 32:9 too! Something like Eldenring wasnt able to achieve... Because Aspect Ratio is very hard to program.... not....
Should you buy the game? If you want something new? Yes. If you want great visuals ? Yes. If you wanna dress up EVE and look at her a littlebit.... Nexus Mods exist and is alrdy full of EVERYTHING.
For 70 Bucks? Its sadly the new standard price for games.... So waiting for sales is fine too!

So far its pretty solid.
Yeah... a lot of people dislike the removal of "Sex: Male - Female" and change it to "Type 1 - Type 2" .... but if this 1 sec made you not buy the game.... Your rly special. And yes... I dislike useless and unnecessary "woke" stuff too.

Game is somewhat good optimised for Unreal Engine 5 and "somewhat of a Bethesda game". Everyone that played a Bethesda Game on release day knows this. So wait a few days for more patches to fix the mess UE5 is (or wait for the first Fan Patches)

Game doesnt support mods too. For the slow people here that means Bethesda or Virtues dont deliver the game with a "Creation Engine Modding Program". People basicly need to code more and do more stuff to make mods. THIS DOESNT MEAN THERE WILL BE NO MODS AT ALL! This just means Modders need to do MORE. You will get your Fan Patches and big tiddy goth mommys just a few hours later than the normal Creation Engine Bethesda Game.

Story wise.... Its Oblivion + all Story Expansions from back then in the base version. nough said for this point

If THIS is the remastered standard I have high hopes for a possible Fallout 3 Remastered.

This game is one of the biggest jokes possible. The game is basicly Fallout 4 Vanilla without the Creation Club or any DLCs. For 60 Bucks....
And NOW the highlight.... If you own Fallout 4 (non VR Version) with DLCs , Mods and saves... you can move the files into the Fallout 4 VR folder and get every DLC the non VR game has while these mods dont exist for Fallout 4 VR.... Most of the mods from normal Fallout 4 work. Bethesda did the absolute minimum to make a VR Version to get a VR Version while the big VR hype was on max.

Game is not optimised controller wise and you can clip thru objects because they didnt add collision for the player. Weapons float in the air and you can shoot everything with one hand.... yes .... Gattling guns too....
To fix this basic stuff you need dedicated mods because Bethesda didnt care enough to work at all.


So... I recomend this game because its Fallout 4 in VR but YOU need to do so mucn to make this playable AND need another game to get the DLCs too.

Very chill game to sightsee Europe to some extend.

If you visited some places IRL you can identify them. Not 1:1 but you can see the similaritys.
