First things first, i dont write reviews i PLAY GAMES. So my formatting is gunna piss you off. but this needs to be said.

Would i recommend you buy this game. yes

Do i think in its current state its worth the 40$ price point? not for everyone.
(i think it WILL be worth 40$ soon)

Are people being FAR to critical of its condition? 100% yes.

the game has its issues but it is still a truly fun game, most things i can see are people saying it's just another big title released way to early. Ok so its AI is pretty dumb, that can be fixed. yes there are bugs, the devs are working on them. people need to realize that this isn't like cyberpunk, this isn't a massive dev studio putting out a sack of crap after working for YEARS on it. this is a smaller studio putting out a game most of you didn't know was coming, and then starting to fix it as soon as it was released.

as for the game its actually quite fun for an action brawler, the games speed isnt as fast paced as some others and it suffers from in my opinion with the movement feel of the characters, they feel slippery.
the items that you can equip are pretty basic with only a few different set bonuses, however the implicit item bonuses are random it appears which is good for diversity.
the visuals are fantastic in my opinion, im more than happy with how my favorite characters look in this medium, even if its not how i imagined them.
the multiplayer also makes the game far more fun, adding simple combos and team actions that make working together engaging enough to be worth doing.

in conclusion. stop complaining that it has bugs, every game had bugs in the beginning. at least the devs are trying.

I didn't realize that the original needed a sequel.... but i am not sure how they managed to make it so awesome.

Great game. i recommend getting friends together and build yourselves a world.
