While CA is struggling a bit to keep on track and the game is not foreign to make all the dlc stuff way better than any base game factions, it's still a great game to get that fantasy Warhammer experience.

I've stopped playing once I lost patience with the devs but it's a good game it changed a lot since I played but I'm sure it's still good.

If you played games alike Vermintide or Deep Rock Galactic, join the Helldivers and help us wipe the vermin off this Galaxy!
The mission difficulty is well assigned. You will start with the weaker opponents, as you take on more difficult missions you will start to see heavier opponents, then tanks, gunships and even walking factories. Lessons learned with any weapon on any assignment will remain valuable on missions of the highest designation as the enemies themselves don’t change only the composition.
Due to changes in our own production lines as well as the enemies, divinations are possible over months.
We fight on diverse planets, from desert to jungles, grassy steppes and pine forests. A common assurance are cliffs and lakes that cut through the operation area. The planets can be ice cold with blizzards or hot with tornados of fire, have electromagnetic disturbances and other hazards. There is only one thing that is ever present: The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fricking fog! You will barley have any time to enjoy the 2.5min you are granted to enjoy the scenery when you can never really see beyond 50m!

State of the training simulation:
As of recent the simulation runs quite bad. If you load a simulation for a helldive the system is only able to run a at about 20-30 fps. This is quite abysmal. Internal diagnosis has shown that the simulation consumes vast amounts of CPU. This is quite unexpected and seems to bottleneck most systems that could easily run similar tasks without any issue. Unfortunately, the options do disable many CPU costly settings are not available forcing the system to calculate physics on every and all objects.
The simulation also seems to consume the same system resources almost no matter what is going on in sim. This is highly unusual and inefficient.
The Simulation crashes quite a lot and bugs are not rare but also not very severe.

Your opinion on the nProtect security package:
I fear it is spyware introduced by saboteurs. I’d rip it out of our super destroyer if it wasn’t so deep embedded in our systems.

Your opinion on the Superstore:
While I’ve never supported stores like it where divers have to exchange their cash for credits, the ability to gain the premium currency in missions ~10-30 per mission and the generosity of 1000 from your initial mobilization warbond makes it a rater good system overall.

Far too easy lost interest immediately

Now when I first looked at this it looked like a pay to win grind game from the store page.
Couldn't have been any further from the truth.
While it has in game currency and everything must be bought with the non-premium currency you get absolutely loaded with that in comparison to the games we all know and hate.

You will be able to buy and kit out all ships (exempt for the undead dlc) in about 20h. And then it seems to progress steadily (even the premium currency can be obtained (I'm at 1/4 of an undead ship).
The gameplay is fun and seems quite balanced but because of the lack of players everything is pve at the moment.
The dedicated pve mode is challenging. I would recommend playing this co-op with friends.

If you're into coop games and like combat this is the game for you. No other game can beat this nope not Vermintide since these devs actually care.

You can build crazy or normal bridges sure but half the fun in such games for me is to try and beat the game criteria/friends and here it quickly boils down to: Use wood ignore all other materials.
The controls are also not really change friendly making it tedious fast.

This is supposed to be a meh review 5/10.

It's a good story but the last act really shows that Telltale Games was falling apart. It's rushed and you can see a drop in quality compared to the other acts (at least back when it came out).

As always your choices don't matter they are just cosmetic. But in this title you will notice one choice you made I guarantee you.

The game play is just monotonous and boring.
There are no responsive mechanics. It's all about outstating your enemy in a battle who outtanks, -dmgs and most importantly steals life.
Bosses are immune to all stuns slows etc. dumping these features right into the trash.
You only have access to two of the difficulties from the start others only unlock after playing the full game.
