Understanding how much effort the beautiful art would have taken was enough alone to have me pay for this game. I was fearful that because of this, I was going to be far too jaded that I would excuse the gameplay for the aesthetic.

I don't feel this is the case though.

The gameplay has simple elements familiar to those who have played a platformer before with tight controls. The animation then compliments this with clear indications for an enemy's movements and attacks.

Overall left me with the feeling that, if I died, it was my own damn fault.

Been too busy making sure my garden in Stardew Valley is in top shape that I neglected my physical garden.

Weeding is much hard in real life tho :(

10/10 game.

While I loved the asthetic of this game a lot, I couldn't play this game.

Single player was interesting although I didn't have much time to play it. I bought this with a friend to try to co-op, only then noticing that it was only local co-op. While playing however, it was insanely frustrating having the game focus on the party leader, Player 1, to the point where every room you entered or exited from resulted in having to enter as Player 2 again. Thus meaning that I was spending most of my time entering the game rather than playing it.

Perhaps these issues came from the way the controller is used for the game, I found myself often pressing to enter and instead taking over for player 1.
