The definitive Fromsoft game. Fans of east-meets-west mecha have been waiting on a game like this for as far as we can remember. Little to no prior knowledge of the series necessary to jump in. The only game I've been compelled to 100%. Story, mechanics, soundtrack, it's all there and so far and above anything else I've played. Maybe a perfect game. Cannot sing the praises of ACVI enough. 11/10.

They send you a PhD in nuclear physics with a minor in electrical engineering if you log 50-some hours. Chock full of simple "If this, then that" wiring projects to sink your teeth into. Goes from a fun game with friends to a nightly job you dread. 10/10 currently spending my days and nights drafting wiring diagrams for efficient oxygen generator power management and distribution.

Buyer be warned: Over ten minutes to get into a game on launch with no dedicated single player mode, the removal of multiple features compared to the previous installation in the series, and only eight available heists with the option to purchase a season pass right out of the gate. Only, the season pass gives you no extra weapons, heists, or cosmetics. Melee weapons are removed, the safe house is removed, lobby browsing is removed. The only positive thing it has to tout are graphical improvements and even those are lackluster. This is less than the bare minimum of what is expected and required for the price points.
