It is a great shame the game released in such a poor state. Overall I think this is a perfect sequel to Fallen Order. At the time of writing this review I would say that the performance is quite good. I still experienced more FPS drops than I am used to and I also encountered a few very annoying bugs but it was nothing game breaking. My PC is definitely not NASA level so I would say that if you didn't buy the game because of the performance issues at launch you don't have to worry anymore.

Besides the performance the game is great. Every gameplay aspect of Fallen Order is improved upon including combat, exploration and traversal. What I really like is the fact that there is no reset of your abilities from the previous game in Survivor. Cal starts with everything you remember. Your old abilities are improved upon and you also find/unlock a whole lot more throughout the game. You now have 5 lightsaber stances and each of them has its own skill tree. Force abilities are also better and I found them way more useful than in the previous game.

In comparison to Fallen Order I also enjoyed exploration and backtracking a lot more. The game combines linear levels with open world parts and it works great. A large enemy variety that is included also makes for a better exploration experience.

I played on Jedi Grandmaster difficulty and most of the time it was decently balanced. However I can not imagine playing on this difficulty without investing all my early skill points in hp and stim effectivness. I think I would switch to an easier difficulty option because there is a lot of enemies who will just oneshot you from full hp or drain you out of stims before you can actually do something. The oneshots are my biggest problem with Jedi Grandmaster difficulty because even with the health upgrades some bosses still had attacks that would oneshot me. Or I would make one mistake when dealing with an enemy's combo and that would just annihilate me. These attacks were often delayed and thus counterintuitive to your natural reactions. For the most part they were just annoying when it comes to the mandatory content in the game. However some optional challenges I immediately gave up as I deem them extremely unfair and poorly designed (Double Oggdo and double Rancor) .

The story is very good and I was interested in it for the duration of the entire game. I also like the characters. Especially Cal, Merrin and Greez. I didn't really enjoy Bode. He felt like a yes-man without much personality but I suppose it was intentional. Even if that is the case though you spend quite a lot of time with him so I still take as a minor flaw. .

Overall I can only recommed this game. It is truly a shame that due to corporate bullshittery it got mostly negative attention and than faded away. I hope the final part of the trilogy won't face the same problems.

The fact that this is the studio's first game of this genre is insane. In my opinion it matches the Fromsoft quality. And the best thing is that Lies of P doesn't just copy the well known recpie. It expands it with many interesting and very enjoyable new concepts.

It looks great, the music is amazing, the story is very well written and interesting. But the pinnacle of the Lies of P experience is of course the gameplay itself. Combat is swift, challenging and incredibly rewarding once you learn it. Exploration of the world is always fun because the levels are just masterfully crafted and so pleasing to look at.

However all these great aspects of Lies of P wouldn't be enough for me if the bosses were poorly designed. Luckily they are my favourite part of the game. There were many memorable boss encounters in Lies of P and especially in the late game they were testing my limits. In a good way though. In most cases I didn't feel frustrated and really enjoyed the learning process. The only exceptions that come to my mind are The Black Rabbit Brotherhood (2nd encounter) and the second phase of Laxasia the Complete (I think the boss is just too fast for the game.) .

I do not feel like writing an entire essay so I won't go into more detail but there are many more things I liked about the game. It has it's flaws but compared to all the positive stuff the flaws are in my honest opinions not a big issue.

Loved it. Hyped up for the DLC.

Výborná hra, doporučuji všem. Hra vypadá nádherně, gameplay je skvělý a napínavý. Soundtrack je taktéž úžasný a obtížnost dělá z této hry skutečnou výzvu.

Vřele doporučuji. Hra mě bavila od začátku až do konce. Příběhově určitě nepatří mezi nejlepší hry, které jsem hrál, ale gameplay je opravdu zábavný. Musím pochválit gunplay, pěknou grafiku a zajímavý perk systém, se kterým jsem se ještě u jiné hry nesetkal. Za mě 8/10.

Se hrou jsem spokojen. Z mého pohledu se jedná o nejlepší hru, co se středověkých soubojů týče.
Z historického hlediska hra smysl nedává, ale o to u ní vůbec nejde. Soubojový systém hry je udělaný velmi dobře a je bezpochyby hlavní předností hry. Také grafika je velmi hezká. Další pozitiva jsou různé herní režimy a hezké mapy. Mezi negativa bych zařadil špatnou singleplayerovou kampaň ( několikahodinový tutoriál ), matchmaking a mikrotransakce uvnitř hry.

Recenze předběžného přístupu
Perfektně zpracovaná survival hra. Propracovaný podmořský svět umí být nádherný a okouzlující, ale také tajemný a strašidelný. Navíc hra je v předběžném přístupu, takže až bude hotová, bude teprve stát za to!
