I've been using this for a while with MMORPGS and other games where there's a ton of things happening on screen as it's easy for me to lose the mouse. Unfortunately, as some others have said, for the past month or so, YoloMouse has been locking up my PC and causing black screen issues. After it happening a few times, I narrowed it down to YoloMouse so I've had to stop using it as every time it happens, it requires a reboot to fix. I'm not sure what happened, but hopefully they fix it. I'll give it a shot in a few months.

I didn't have any performance issues, but I'm an outlier with a 7800X3D and RTX 4090. The game is OK, but in my opinion, it's not fun. The boss fights are really uninspired, the whole umbral mechanic is cool at first but gets old fast. I refunded it.

This is the next big Naruto game in the Bandai Namco series. Here's my take on it:

Graphics and Art: Art-wise, this is the most beautiful Naruto game yet and it makes you wonder why more anime-based games do not use a cell-shaded art style. The graphics options are simple and fine. The game isn't a fan of 21:9 resolutions and until a mod or patch is introduced, you'll always have black bars limiting the game to 16:9. If, like me, you're running a 3440x1440 monitor, the game is still beautiful but it does mess with the HUD a bit. Change your resolution to 2560x1440 and change the resolution-scale to 200% to fix it.

Audio: Audio is fine. English voices are default and cringy like always. The Japanese voice actors do a fine job. The world, abilities, and general sound effects are also fine. They're on par with the rest of the Naruto games. Nothing ground-breaking but nothing to complain about.

Customization: Customization is also fine. Don't expect to do any detailed face/body edits as there are between 1-10 presets for body type, and each major face component but it does an okay job to allow creative players a way to stand out. There are 4000 unlockable clothing/accessory/hair/face paint options. While that's a huge number, you'll find out quickly that they're labeled as "Naurto Top 1", "Sai Bottoms 3", etc. I have about 45 unlocked at 4.x hours and while I am enjoying my character's look, a lot of the clothing I've unlocked is bland so far.

An interesting thing is that after creating your character, you can change the hair, eye color, face paint for free through the Inn (Sakura) in the HUB world. You can also buy a scroll which will allow you to completely re-make your character and even change their gender. Said scroll is bought by in-game currency.

Story: From what I can tell, it's basically non-existent. You play as a new shinobi in the technologically-advanced Boruto series. Your missions are done in a "VR" machine to make sense of doing Naruto/Shippuden/Boruto missions. While doing missions, you unlock characters from the main cast as "VR Mentors." You can play as these characters during missions and PvP but as long as they're selected as your mentor, you'll gain experience with them. There are five levels per mentor; Level 1 gets you one of their jutsu, level 2 gets you a piece of clothing specific to them, level 3 gets you the second jutsu, level 4 I'm not sure yet, and level 5 will get you their secret jutsu. Each mentor has three jutsu you can learn.

Gameplay: The gameplay is rather good. It builds off of the Ninja Storm series. It's completely 3D and you have full control of your character in decently sized maps. Controls are clear and accurate. The controller performs as well as you'd expect but keyboard+mouse is surprisingly good. I believe I've settled on controller but I'd be able to play with keyboard+mouse just fine if I had to. You have 4 "classes" to pick from. Melee, Ranged, Defense, and Healer. For each class, you have a light attack, a heavy attack, a ranged attack (kunai, smoke bombs, etc.), substitution jutsus, ninjutsu 1, ninjutsu 2, and a secret jutsu. These jutsu can be exchanged with learned jutsu from your mentors.

Online aspects: After doing the training missions, you can press <SELECT> to open up your friends list and invite others to your game. There are phrases you can use while in the HUB world as well as emotes you can use. Online missions are fun although my biggest gripe is that you need to leave the online party you're in to talk to NPCs like turning in a completed mission or going into the Inn to change your loadouts. PvP is fun and I'm finding there's a pretty high skill ceiling. I believe this is the first Naurto game with a 4v4 PvP concept and I have to say that it's a lot of fun. 4v4 may seem like a low amount of players but it keeps the games simple and easy to follow.

Offline aspects: You can still do missions offline but I warn you that some missions, especially those that require you to defend a village gate, will be extremely difficult by yourself with the number of enemies there are.

Bugs/Glitches: Not too many. There are some graphical bugs like model clipping but nothing is too bad. I have had a friend been kicked out of my online lobby twice, though. It may be because of server stress, I'm not sure.

All-in-all: This is a Naruto game that I've been waiting for. Like I said, I believe this is the first Naruto game with true team-based PvP combat where everyone fights at once instead of tag-teaming. If that sounds like something that interests you, I'd get this game based solely off of that fact.

I am a pretty big Sonic fan but I'm disappointed. Sonic Forces is a game full of wasted opportunity. The potential is there but the execution falls flat. Forces is a completely shallow story that attempts to hid behind its gameplay which is subpar to its predecessor, Generations, in nearly every way. There is enjoyment to be had but not for its $40 retail price. Wait for the Winter sale and pick this game up for 50% off. If this game retailed at $20, I would recommend it.

I didn't understand all of the hype or cult-like nature. But I bought the game on sale with a friend and played for a few hours. All I can say after logging 8+ hours... EDF! EDF! EDF! EDF! EDF! EDF!
