I like this game. It's a great addition to the horde shooter canon of Deep Rock, GTFO, Darktide, L4D2, and it's enjoyable for the same reasons as those. The account linking debacle was an unfortunate example of changing the terms of ownership after purchase and the change of that policy is nice to see.

It does all the good things a dlc should do, and the music is great as always

good game yeah. You can choose how challenging you want the game to be using difficulty settings and playstyle, or you can just collect items until it looks like wave 400 of a tower defense game, and plays itself. The soundtrack is good to listen to on its own, AND it perfectly fits the game.

All the good things you've presumably heard about the monetization being respectful, the game being fun and facilitating teamwork, and the developers being bros, is true. What you see is what you get and it's good.

Short review: It's really fun.

For most games that's not enough information to be a review, but it's really all you need to know. Worth the money at full price, which is only 25$. I can't imagine a type of person who plays this game and doesn't find something they adore about it.
