I've been playing games for a few centuries now, and I've never found a game this enjoyable. I've invented a time machine just to play this game over when I didn't realize how amazing it was yet.

Get it or regret it.

The game is inviting from the menu screen, right into the opening tutorial. The tutorial, though tedious, is rather easy. Once that's over and done, it's on to the stealth. Well, stealth is optional, but preferable in this type of game. To constantly alert enemies means over and over frustration of running around finding a place to hide and reset their alertness levels back to 0 (from red or yellow to no alertness). The system is very nice in that aspect of AI awareness of your actions. Some enemies like Roabies, even detect you if you are not moving using shift and crouch, which is an extra level of stealth/silent movement, besides being immobile.

Overall feeling on this game is that if you want to play as a goblin who knows how to stealthily wipe out his enemies and do it with brutality and style, Styx is your man... err... ghoul/goblin. The music lends to the overall fiendish ambiance, and the soundfx are very nicely done, authentic to whatever it is you're doing at the moment, stepping, jumping, etc. The voiceovers are top notch as well.

Fun factor is a plus. I'd highly recommend this game, and have to rate it 11/10.
