Absolute nightmare to get running. Had to mess with the game files just to get past the neighborhood screen or create a family, even though it’s supposedly “optimized” for modern PCs what a joke. And when I finally got it working, it crashed every time a burglar showed up, soft locking me out of my household. This game is a broken mess, and EA clearly doesn’t care enough to fix it. Don’t waste your own money on this so called “classic.” Luckily, I managed to get a refund after nearly 3 hours of pure frustration.
