guy claims to be an automotive technician so i reached out for assistance regarding my 98 corolla. faulty ignition ♥♥♥♥, was struggling to start sometimes and noticed increased emissions and reduced fuel economy, especially on rainy days. he offered a home visit to take a look and give me a quote. i specifically asked for a 6pm appearance but he showed up at 3:30pm while i was at work. wife had to help him and she's an elementary school secretary who drives a 2019 rav4 (absolutely clueless). guy gets back to me (im furious at this point) with a $800 estimate and $150 invoice for the visit he previously said was free. obviously didnt pay the scammer and took it into my buddy down the road who fixed the ♥♥♥♥ for $250 + free oil change and tire rotation. this was 2 weeks ago and he has probably made thousands off of clueless idiots since that time. also havent seen my wife since then. dont do business with this guy
