Captures the Aliens atmosphere nearly perfectly and has very solid gameplay. Kind of like a realtime x-com, but a lot more tense. One of the most entertaining Aliens games I have played!

A very nice experience, albeit a bit depressing. Provides a somewhat exaggerated look on our current society and the direction we're headed in.

Read the reviews, it's all true. I had to force myself to finish it.

Even if you are able to ignore the texturework, Aliens: Colonial Marines is a terribly bland shooter with zero suspense, very dumb (and sometimes even hilariously so) AI of both enemies and your teammates.
On top of that, you fight humans for half of the game...HALF the game! I thought this was an Aliens game?

There is one level in the game which I thought to be pretty good, that is the sewer level. It lasted 10 minutes....

I could go on and on, but I would advise you to steer clear of this game.
It might be a little better if you are a die-hard fan of the Alien series, but frankly, this game is insulting to the franchise.
