Early Access Review
Haven't had a chance to try the game out yet, but I am willing to support a game that is willing to give DLC away for free to those willing to engage. I will update once I have some play time and can give a more helpful review!

This game is always fun to come back to. I have been playing it with Stardew Expanded and recommend others do to.

Game was fun to play and the developer was cool to listen to during a friend's stream he showed up on.

Early Access Review
This game is fun at first to be honest. Why am I giving it a thumbs down? Because as the game is right now, I find it to get boring pretty quickly. There is a lot I haven't done, but there is a lot I have. It doesn't take long for the days to feel repetitive and the variety lacking. I understand the game is in early access and is being updated every month but I am writing this review for how the game is now.

Pros:
1. The game is relaxing and doesn't rush you
2. Frequent updates
3. The game has potential
4. The base mechanics are good

Cons:
1. Lacking in content at the moment
2. Not enough variety in content
3. Days feel too short so I never feel I get enough done in a day
4. The grind for basic upgrades feels too slow even with upgrades
5. Could use more variety in music

Hope this helped.

Stellaris is a great strategy and, in my opinion, Stellaris is the best 4x strategy game out there. I will quickly give a summary of what things might draw people and what things might push people away. Afterwards I will talk about two of the biggest factors that you should take into consideration before buying.

You might like Stellaris if you like the following:
- Epic space fights
- Random bits of good story
- A sense of accomplishment for completing challenges
- Hours of game play
- Great music
- Large or small scale strategy
- Continual updates (free content and DLC)
- Randomly generated maps
- The ability to be fanatical purifiers that seek the destruction of all those ugly aliens!

You might dislike Stellaris if you don't like the following:
- Potentially slow late game
- Micromanagement
- Strategy
- Low strategy combat where the only thing that truly matters is fleet power

All out the game is fun and I love it but there are two big factors that you should take into consideration before buying. The first factor is probably the biggest let down of the game and the second could be taken as good or bad.

Combat is relatively boring. Sure it is fun to watch the massive late game battles at slow speed but you can't really do much. No matter what, fleet power is the most important factor in fights. The player doesn't control the ship positions, which weapons or ships focus on what, and if you have low fleet power and want to try hit and run gorilla tactics then you will be disappointed. The most you can do is outfit your ships to counter another empire's ships and that is it. If you want to be like the rebel alliance in Star Wars and rise up from being the underdogs then you are out of luck because the empire has a bigger fleet and will sweep through the land you own and there is nothing you can do about it.

The game is being updated regularly. It never takes too long for them to come out with new content, fixes, and other such stuff. This can be a blessing and a curse. If you like one version of Stellaris but then change it slightly then too bad, you will have to keep playing the old version as some big features have been changed without any thought of changing it back. This isn't a bad thing in my opinion as they have only added to the experience so far, but for some that could be the difference between a good and a bad game.

TLDR: Combat is almost entirely based on who has the best fleet and the game keeps updating constantly.

This game is awesome. I played the entire game with my brother who was playing it in the same room. Summoning each other for bosses and such was annoying but I don't regret any of it. It proves to be fun, hard, creepy, and pleasing to look at, all at the same time. Would recomend playing, and then playing again. Now to die a lot more on dark souls 2.

I started the game thinking it wouldtake a while before it was fun like other reviews said. I imidiatly enjoyed it. I joined a corp and found lots of great people, learned how much fun the different things you can do were, and learned how much fun and how dangerous wormhole traveling into unknown space can be. I highly recomend this game if you don't mind spending some time to enjoy the game. I also recomend you try exploration in the game as that is a lot of fun. Also if you are killed by a player, don't let it discorage you. Ask how they killed you and if they have any tips and you will find even that guy who kills you the first time you enter unknown space, also has a heart.
