People be mad at 1896 update, but 2.4 which just launched has fixed almost all of my complaints since 1896 launched. All I'm missing now is the old weather effects.

DeSalle rework is great, current event is decent (although boring traits), weapon balancing is pretty decent ATM. Currently game is in a decent state, it was not the revive bolt and Krag silencer meta we had 6 months ago.

UI has been reworked again to mostly restore it, sound design is remixed to be better again, lore has been readded in game and burning has had a rework.

I agree that taking 10 months to fix 1896 has been long, but now that it is fixed one should enjoy it and not complain about the past.

This year saw massive changes to the in-game economy, with some more changes still to come, yet the playbase has a massive outrage due to no top tier premium sales. While some might see it as Gaijin taking revenge on us for review bombing the game half a year ago, not having a sale on top tier is ultimately a loss on Gaijins side, they sell less and have probably lost money compared to having a sale on top tier premiums.

If you were to go to your favorite clothing store during black friday, only to find out that your favorite pair of jeans are not on sale, would you really insult the employees and vandalise the store? Didn't think so.
