A lot of people are glazing this but I don't recommend buying it until it receives some heavy attention. It's incredibly confusing and the game has way too many bugs to be actually called good.

Got this gifted by a friend, but with the PSN stuff goin' on I can't support this garbage.

Absolutely stunning graphics. The eerie atmosphere had me shook and I wish I could experience the true fright that was playing this for the first time all over again!

EAC can suck my nuts

This DLC is definitely worth it in my opinion.

Featuring an interesting new story that follows Baranor from the base-game, it brings in other new characters from both Baranors and Talions past. The first time I played this was honestly a blast, going from just discovering the region to mucking around with other characters and then finally everything culminating in a epic siege where we took the fort? And then a fun final, sequel hinting, cutscene? Oh god it's just amazing.

Then on top of that amazing story, it adds in a lot of new game mechanics which makes every playthrough unique in its own way. From getting rare modifications for your weapons that completely change how you fight, to hiring a mercenary with a set of traits that make them a beast of the battlefield? It almost guarentees that every run won't be the same.

The only thing that worried me originally was that maybe the combat would be too similar to Talion? As in the name animations and abilities. But I was pleasantly surprised with a bunch of new animations that actually factored in who Baranor was and what equipment he had on him. He wasn't able to effortlessly hack down orks with super-human speed like someone wearing a ring, but simply outskilling his enemy in each execution move. It really immersed me as I never felt like I was just a reskin of Talion, but an entirely new character.

Overall, I'd rate this DLC a 9/10. The only thing putting my off from the 10/10 score is that the Permadeath should be a little more leanient or forgiving. I had a fair share of runs where I would have played for half an hour to just storm the fort and then unluckily be hit by a knife of an Assassin and then boom, It's over.

Great story and atmosphere, would do anything just to experience it for the first time again.

Finished it in 1 sitting and I have to say that it's quite amazing.
The animations, models, atmosphere and music is all so perfectly made and really sets the vibe.
My only wish was that it was longer!

Game

Literally my overall favorite game.

Even though this game is great fun with friends, I can't really recommend it because of the terrible amount of bugs which can make it quite infuriating to play sometimes.
