It's a 50/50 in most cases. Missions on servers with massive groups of people looks like a lot of fun, although I haven't really been able to experience that - only basic multiplayer and campaign missions (which are extremely frustrating as the save function doesn't always work - I.e. sending me 3 missions back after coming back on from my save the night before). If you're coming here because of the really cool missions that people like OperatorDrewski and other YouTubers do, just know that big private events like that won't always happen - alongside the fact that you'll need mods and DLC with even MORE controls to remember.
However, I'm not saying it's a terrible game. It just hasn't been my cup of tea for a lot of reasons (but hey, that's what you'll get from MilSim's)
