DEMOCRACY HAS PREVAILED
Sony suits removed the mandatory PSN creation and linking. Remember this fight, helldivers!

Enforcing PSN account creation and linking after 2 months from the release is a scummy move to say the least.
That should ALWAYS be optional, you know, how it was written in Sony's TOS. The one they modified today and removed the "optional" part. Scummy move after scummy move.
I do NOT recommend this game!

At the end of the game a strange romantic kind of a melancholy has set in. I'm looking at the icon that is telling me that I've have mastered Sekiro, I'm at awe. What a journey. Truly a masterpieces of a game. A game of rhythm and memory.

Even though many say it's a "souls game" give it a try, you might be surprised to find something a bit different that will challenge you as much or maybe more than a DS title. With each death you get enjoyment because you've learn something new about certain bosses or mechanics and you are eager to try it again. A test about not giving up and pushing through.

Visuals - 10/10
Unlike other "souls" titles the visuals in Sekiro have colors, from the contrast of the red maple leaves on the fresh snow to the rays of light playing through the clouds. A sad kind of beauty follows you around the whole journey through Ashina.

Story - 10/10
The dynamic of the story, the way it changes with your choices. You need to experience all endings. They all are worth it.

Fighting mechanics 9/10
The dancing of the swords when you execute perfect parries. The stealth deathblows when you finish your foes. The only minus I would give is that the camera movement is sometimes chaotic, trying to center on your enemy.

Music - 9/10
Simple soundtrack, few instruments, lots of goose bumps. This is one of the perfect examples where less is more. The soundtrack complements the visuals of the game to perfection.

Boss fights 9/10
By far the best part of the game is the rhythm of the fights. Bosses like Owl Father and Sword Saint Isshin are the epitome of what boss fights should be. The only bosses that felt "out of place" were The Demon of Hatred and The Guardian Ape, reminiscent of dark souls they seem forced in Sekiro.

10/10 game
Because even if it's not a perfect game, Sekiro embraces it's flaws and shows true beauty in it's imperfections.
