Stellaris is a great game that has a lot of effort put into it. It's not perfect by any means, no game is, but if you like strategy games you will probably like Stellaris. Warning though, there is quite a bit of micro management needed, so if that's not something you like or isn't your forte, then you might have some trouble with the game. The game is also infinitely better with mods in my opinion. The base game is fun, especially with all the DLCs, but it can get boring and the AI isn't that good. Mods can change that, especially the larger ones like ACOT, ZOFE, and Gigastructural Engineering.

All in all, while not perfect, it is one of the best games I've found and is in my top 10 games.

This is worth the money, mainly for skill training, but it does have other advantages. It just goes to the steam account for EVE and not your other non-steam accounts. Supposedly there is a way to apply it to non-steam accounts, but I have not researched it.
