Honestly not great. I loved TL2 and this one definitely feels worse. Skill trees are much more limited. Controls are a little off. It really feels like it's a mobile version of TL ported back to pc. It's also online only for the early access and the servers are spotty at best. In the 2 hours I've plays I've completed maybe 4 quests with the reconnects and quests restarting. Couldn't party up with friends either. I will say the classes seem interesting and if they flesh out the skill trees more and fix the connection issues, it will be a decent game but I'd hold off for now.

If you like Rust or even better the dead mass of gank happy morons that was Worlds Adrift, then this game is for you. If you expect actual survival elements then you're in for a surprise. The only thing you have to worry about surviving is the murder hobos out to kill anyone and everyone.

Honestly the premise is really good and I could see this being really fun if not for a few glaring issues. Firstly in the few games I've played in this free weekend and in the betas, matches seem to HEAVILY favor Hunters until there is only one Scavenger left. You as a scavenger, die extremely quickly to the hunter and have no chance of being revived if he's at all close to you because execution is uninterruptible. The hunter can set up turrets and drones guarding blood drop points and can cross the map instantly should you trigger one. Scavenger abilities are next to useless aside from maybe the smoke bomb.
I will concede that it seems like Scavengers win like 85% of the games but only because the exit opens when there is only one remaining and so people just hide in bushes and try to be the last one alive so they can exit. At the moment I can't recommend this game unless you enjoy hiding in bushes simulator 2019.
