A very chill version of a Suika-like game.
The planets are very bouncy, which can sometimes thwart your plans, but I can't complain. Always love me some bouncy-balls. The more bounce, the better.
It's also way more forgiving than other Suikas I've played, the bombs being a great help when you're in a pinch and even if a ball pops over the limit after being squeezed a la wet-soap-in-hand style, the game isn't over. Ball just comes straight back down no problem.
Put that together with a simple but catchy soundtrack, that sometimes is the main reason I come back playing occasionally, and ya got yourself a nice game to relax with for a while.

I mean, I've never gotten frustrated while playing this compared to other Suikas and that's really saying something.
Chill as heck.

Short, but sweet enough to warrant a dentist visit.

While I do enjoy myself a good piece of deep lore that I can sink my beaked teeth into, thinking about the meaning of every little detail for tens of hours, sometimes all I need is to just run around the neighbourhood as a tiny black cat with a mind full of mischief, smacking pots off a ledge and harass the local avian population.
Now, some of you might think a bird harassing other birds might seem a bit off. To you, I'd advise you to take another look at my username.

Either way, I highly recommend this for anyone in need of a short break from reality and a huge need for shenanigans. Some slight jank with the controls, but that's to be expected from a game that's been out for (at the time of writing) one day. Otherwise, solid game. Solid fun and a surprisingly solid cat! I mean, dang! The falls and head bonks this kitty takes sure ain't something I'D just brush off and keep running with!
Keep going strong, Little one!

Early Access Review
Lovely art style, great concept and love that you can animate yourself a little follower, but the gameplay can be quite frustrating if you're a fan of more casual platforming.

With the characters all having their exclusive powers, a lot of the jumps needed to progress in a level can require switching characters with the appropriate power on the fly, often several switches in a single jump. This is a fun mechanic, but can definitely cause a lot of frustration, especially in later levels where the jumps get more complicated.
I'm not exactly a platforming legend myself, so I often find myself stuck on a single jump for about 10 minutes and just finishing a single stage takes me upwards to 40 minutes. As you can see, my playtime is just over 13 hours. I made it to world 2.

Although, to be fair, about 6-7 hours were spent using the pet maker to animate myself a follower, but that's still another 6-7 hours just to make it past a single world.

All that said however, I would definitely recommend this for the more advanced platformer-lovers. It could definitely be a good way to challenge yourself while listening to some neat tunes (the soundtrack is very pleasant).
I do not fit into that category, so this game is sadly one that, while I do want to, I will not be able to finish.

Incredibly fun and challenging game, although I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who gets easily frustrated (like me), as the physics will more often that not make you resemble more a velocirubber-ball, bouncing back and forth between obstacles that can be incredibly difficult to predict from the game's randomly generated nature.

You will often find yourself losing every ounce of momentum you have thanks to a mistimed jump, an unexpected boulder smacking you on top of the head or getting stuck under the tail-end of the seemingly most impassable stegosaurus you've ever met and as a result, hear the doom rumbling behind you if you stop for even half a second. Especially on the harder difficulties.

So yeah. Fun and challenging, but also be EXTREMELY frustrating at times.
