As a long-time fan of the Farming Simulator series, I've always looked forward to new releases, hoping for fresh, immersive gameplay and significant improvements. Unfortunately, Farming Simulator 25 left me feeling disappointed.

Firstly, while bugs are to be expected, it feels like this title needed more time in development. The bugs could be forgiven if this were released as an early access title, but it’s frustrating that this was launched as a complete game instead.

My main issue, however, lies with the overall feel of the game. There’s a noticeable sluggishness, both in gameplay and responsiveness, that makes the experience feel less interactive than previous versions. It’s also surprisingly repetitive, with much of the content from Farming Simulator 22 simply carried over with minimal change. Disappointingly, many of the DLC items from the previous game didn’t make it to the base game here, which feels like a step back in terms of variety and content.

It’s a shame that the developers chose to take what seems like a “safer” route, focusing on upgrading the game engine rather than adding meaningful content or mechanics. The ground deformation feature is a nice touch and one of the few things I genuinely enjoyed—it adds a level of realism that could have been a foundation for other, equally innovative features.

Overall, Farming Simulator 25 feels like an incremental update rather than a true sequel.
