If you like Tarkov this is better than Tarkov.

First off, the graphics in this game are absolutely phenomenal. Runs like absolute butter, anyone complaining about graphics either has a terrible computer or needs to go get checked by an optometrist.

I also think people are jumping the gun posting reviews about connection issues on the first day. I tried to connect at 9PM Pacific, like EVERYONE in the entire region and obviously Ubisoft's servers were not able to withstand so much. I do agree they should have expected such high numbers, but the servers were up and running about 30 minutes later, no big deal.

People are also complaining about the AI when they most likely are facing lower level AI. I went to a mission where these Purifiers are burning down a building with flamethrowers. I went in thinking it was going to be a piece of cake, as I had done a few missions beforehand and thought I could do it. Boy was I wrong. The 'bosses' are difficult and even the smaller scrap enemies are difficult to deal with. Co-Op in this game is a charming experience that I really have been wanting out of games.

Overall, I think Ubisoft has a bad reputation for games in the past, but with Rainbow Six: Siege and now this game, I really do think they are coming around as very reputable, talented developers. They still get things wrong, but I do appreciate the obvious effort to deliver higher quality games while listening to the community.

Having said that, I don't think this game is 100% perfect just yet. Obvious content updates and bug fixes will definitely get it there. Looking forward to dropping tons of time on this game.

I am mixed about this game at the moment. This game is actually great. It looks great, the guns are realistic, and the animals act like real animals. The only issues I have is the business model and the crashing. I believe this game should have sold for $40 flat, let you hunt everything and allow you to get guns with progression or purchases. The microtransactions seems unnecessary. Also the crashing is a major issue, please devs get on this ASAP. Other than that I recommend this game despite some issues.

Despite people thinking this game is pay to win, it is not. 10x better than DayZ. The Airdrops are contested and somewhat difficult to get. Already been patched 3-4 times to solve issues, this game is going places. If you are hesitant on buying, just buy it.
