Early Access Review
This is the real-life equivalent of the skyrim time skip menu.
Enjoy at your own risk.

I highly suggest disregarding a lot of the negative launch comments on here, as the game is pretty damn good for its price.
If you're looking for a simple sidescrolling roguelike, and some characters with more extensive movesets than what you would get in most games, this one is fantastic.
The game definitely needs more content, but the core of a great game is here and is already pretty fun.

Got about 10 hours of playtime out of it, still have another run to do at at least three more items to get.

I enjoyed it immensely. The atmosphere is top tier, the level design and zone progression is handled in a refreshing way compared to standard Remnant II content, and the equipment and class is enjoyable to play with.

More Remnant is more Remnant.

Only requires one player to have the DLC to access the new area.

This is a fantastic multiplayer game, and it thrives, lives and dies on being able to play it with friends. Thank you for listening to player feedback.

Took player feedback seriously, and changed up their DLC policy.
Much appreciated.

Also, the games damn good.

$10 for new skins, a new character, and a little story to go with it.

I know the community is hungry for a content DLC right now, and in that sense this isn't what a lot of people were hoping for. But it's a great addition and a great way to support the devs.

Edit: It now only requires one player to have the DLC to access the DLC area, and players that don't own it can unlock the characters and skins for use when they eventually buy the DLC.

Absolutely some the best combat out there.
Plenty of depth, despite its simplistic presentation.
And a meaty adventure to boot.

Carrier Command 2 is a game with a specific audience.

You can probably tell if it's for you just by looking at it.
If you want a game that simulates long-range, slow paced, remote tactical operations involving an aircraft carrier, it's for you.
If you enjoy pressing a button and watching a missile launch followed by watching 4 pixels travel across a screen to another circle of pixels, and get a sense of euphoria from watching them both blink out of existence on contact, you definitely want to pick up Carrier Command 2.

The price point is high, but if you're here for what it offers you'll definitely get your moneys worth out of it.

My only complaint is it's hard to fill my command deck with near unwilling friends at that price point.

Enjoyed it immensely. Can't talk too much about it without spoilers, but it's a fantastic exploration game. There are no character upgrades; lack of knowledge and mechanics is literally the only thing stopping you from finishing the game. And the game itself does a fantastic job of keeping your notes together and organized between play sessions, without giving you any "FOLLOW THE HUD MARKER TO FIND THE MACGUFFIN" nonsense.

Good if you enjoy a puzzle game every now and then.
Not very difficult, more about keeping track of what you have and what you've seen, and looking around/poking everywhere. Less about actually wracking your brain to solve riddles or problems.
However, the style of the game and atmosphere is worth the tiny price of the game even if you're an experienced puzzle solver.
If you've ever oggled fancy old puzzle boxes, folding tables, or cabnets on Imgur or such, I'd suggest picking this game up.
